This is a build that I made to run high level FotM. Thought I’d share it with you all.
Wanted something with the support abilities of healing shouts but could also dish out a decent amount of hurt.

Not bad, only things I’d change are:
Take the 10 points out of Defense and put them in Discipline for Heightened Focus
Change food to Curr Squash soup or regular Squash Soup (only 20 less precision and 2% less crit damage and alot cheaper)
And the sigil’s you have don’t stack together
Ooops, forgot to change that one back. It’s suppose to be a sigil o accuracy. It’s a wip, maybe I should label v1. I will probably be tweaking it to add more power at expense of defense when I get more comfortable with it.

Yeah, I run similar: 20 20 0 30 0.
Picking up shouts is 20-30% DPS loss over a typical GS build using same gear, excluding the benefits of boon duration (which is noticeable imo).
You gain ~+40% personal healing + similar for other players in range.
There’s other ways to get healing that you could argue is better cost/benefit, but I’ve been reasonably happy running this.
Minus 20-30% is about right but helping your teammates stay alive as well as granting might and vulnerability also adds to overall party DPS which is worth the price imo.
I like to think that the warrior can contribute more to the party than just a ton of hurt. I’ve had quite a few people say they appreciated the healing shouts when they were about to go down as I ran by them and FGJ, SIO simultaneously. It kept them up long enough for their own heal to recharge.
Another shout healer… Even Anet is telling you shout healing sucks but you keep doing it.
I want to see when banners are buffed to 170 stats if you still insist on this terrible, lock-all-your-utilities-for-poor-healz Guardian-wannabe setup.
Have you even tried it? It’s no secret that you don’t like shout builds, judging from some of your previous posts but just because you believe they suck doesn’t mean that you can’t make viable builds with 30 in vitality. I’ve been playing Warrior since launch and have over 800 hours on him so I know the profession really well. I have 5 different builds that I use for different content. This is just 1 of them.
This build runs lvl 40+ fractals with pugs just fine so it is by no means terrible. As with any build, it’s only as good as the guy who plays it.
At the moment I find banners very lack luster, when they change the buffs on them I will spend the time experimenting with them to make another build to play with.
Well especially in fractals, red falcon is right. Would you really take those three shouts over: endure pain, signet of stamina, banner of discipline? If you take less then 3 shouts, you are really just going 30 into a line for 2k heal at best and some boon duration, which is most likely going to give 3-6 more might to everyone.
On GS/longbow and sometimes Axe/warhorn/longbow, I prefer the 0/25/0/30/15 build. Similar traits, but 3 shouts (with OMM as a swing slot for balanced stance or Sig Stam) and gain adrenaline on shout.
Better adrenaline management for when using other weapons
IMO 10% damage on bleeding targets is just better than berzerker power in group play
Fast hands is amazing for burning LB’s cooldowns and getting right back into 100b/whirlwind
I’m also using a lot of cavalier gear
Maybe I should explain how I play it, then it might make more sense.
I only run with 2 shouts, FGJ gets spammed continuously, SIO gets used every time I see a cond. on allies which is very often. Basically they are both being spammed continuously which is a 2k heal every 20 seconds. On a warrior with 23k health it doesn’t seem like much but for the other lower HP classes it more apparent. Like I said, I made this build to be able to support my party a little more since I run pugs all the time and I don’t know what I am going to get. All those little heals are not really for me but for them, plus I help keep conditions off them as well. The 3rd slot is signet of stamina which gets swapped out for balance stance or banner, or endure pain depending on the fight. Heck, when I’m fighting the stupid harpies I got balance stance, signet of dolyak, and endure pain on my bar.
The superior rune of lyssa removes all cond. and gives me all boons for 6.5 seconds when I use SoR which allows me to face tank a little while I pull off 100B. By spamming both FGJ and SoR I can easily maintain fury and over 10 stacks of might on myself when I’m fighting at range.
If I ran with the same team all the time I would be play something different but this allows me to make up for the not so excellent pug make ups.
