3.26 Warrior Wishlist
I assume you meant leg specialist is supposed to be Mobile Strikes =D
Oops yes, and on that note, as much as I love it, they gotta fix the leg Specialist trait on arrow carts in wvw. So OP.
-Make hammer attack animations faster or give us something to close the distance besides just our burst skill.
(Also like the OPs idea of making ES land whether blinded or not).
-Make healing signet actually heal an amount thatll make it worth using.
-Increase the buffs given by banners so they aren’t useless without putting 30 points into one tree just for the regen.
-Reduce the damage from 100B but remove the rooting effect.
-Make 1h sword deal more base damage so it’s not completely useless in PvP with all the condition removal from almost every class in the game. (can lower the rate at which bleeds are applied to even it out, i dont really care at this point lol)
-Reduce CD on balanced stance to even it out with Guardians “Stand Your Ground!” shout.
-Make bolas travel faster so everyone and their mother can’t just walk out of the way of them.
-Give us some way to apply protection… so we can actually bunker :/
-Make it so mace#5 doesn’t cancel AND give you a CD when your enemy just walks past you before the animation is up. Canceling the animation is fine but adding a CD to it is dumb. Adding tracking to it would be nice.
Other then those I don’t think the warrior would need anymore help and it would not only stop the whole 100B combo every other class complains about (even though it’s the easiest burst to avoid in the entire game) but make the other weapons actually viable when compared to the GS.
Rush: removes cripple and chill on use and speed up the sword swing animation at the end.
Vengeance: when you down somebody (not stomp) you rally with out the need for a trait. or you go back into down state at half health when it ends instead of dying and rallying people.
Brawn: give 1% of something per point.
Furious Speed: needs to last longer than 3 seconds and or have a higher chance to proc than 10%.

I’ve given up all hope for concrete Warrior changes.
I used to love making builds hoping to hit on the next ‘big build’. But I’ve basically lose all affection for this game. I still check in though to see if anything’s changed (it hasn’t).
The mobile strike change and possibly making rush, leap etc target more accurately.
I hope that Stances are looked in to.
I think Balanced Stance is pretty nice, but Endure Pain is in sore need of some loving.
90 seconds is quite a long cool down. Maybe remove the 20% stance Trait and make some stances charge faster in general.

Finally… I would love to see Sword get some attention as well. Find a good balance between condition and damage. Flameseeker Prophecy is a perfect shield for me but Axe sorely lacks a good skin… if swords got buffed, I would gladly go for Bolt~
My changes:
- Fix Bolas to be faster or have a larger hit radius so that people can’t simply out-walk it
- Vigorous shout changed to: “shouting heals for 4k, 20-second cooldown”, so we don’t need to lock all our utilities to FGJ/OMM/SIO forever to get the effect
- Inspiring Banner T3 changed to: Banner give regeneration. Allies affected by banner are healed by 25 when they attack.
- Stance cooldown reduction trait.
2hand Axe, scorpion wire, also a skill that brings all enemies to you if they’re in the area and stuns them for one1/2 sec
For them to look at ANYTHING except banners for ____ing once, like any of the multitude of warrior problems.
SICK TWOHANDED AXES!!! And skills for it which should allow u to do burst while moving.

The Warrior already does it perfectly in another, more Warrior-esque way – AoE perma weakness. So I dont agree with this. Leave protection to the Guardians.
I’d like to see:
-Sword #2 and #3 combined and then either an ability to apply multiple bleeds (so we can stack back up fast without using burst) or an ability to pull whatever you’re fighting to you.
-Banners I can carry on my back. If the samurai figured it out there’s no reason we can’t. That’d also fix the banner hijacker problem.
-Stances need some love. Balanced stance needs more stability time or less cooldown. Frenzy I’d like to see changed to can’t heal. We’re melee, extra damage when everyone but guardians can easily range us is rough. Has anyone actually seen anyone use Berserker Stance? Give it something else, Idc if it’s might, but make it useful. Though I do think Endure Pain is fine for the most part right now.
-I’d like to be able to hit stuff with my hammer consistently and actually have some time for the +damage to take effect and be useful. As it is right now it’s traited to give 25% more on maybe one hit, not very useful =/.
-Heals need to be better. Right now our best heal has the worst condition for getting max heal outa it (we should be using adrenaline, not saving it). Not to mention healing signet is junk at max lvl.
- And the biggest is fix our elites. Signet of Rage is decent and the others are mostly trash. Give rampage a lower cooldown and more gap closers + access to a heal you choose and we’re good. Lower the warbanner’s cooldown (to be rampages current) and make it actually spam out stability, not swiftness.
Those are what I’d like to see as a sword and board condition warrior.

Boy there sure are a ton of warrior bunker builds around! This one time I tried killing a warrior and his banner regen was just waay too OP and I just couldn’t outdamage his 200hps at all. He even killed my whole team with banner cleave!

How does that help bunker? The weakened opponents can still spike a warrior down no time flat, “bunker” specced or not.

and now with banner buffs those OP regen banner warriors can use more then one banner then KICK everyone away cause it homes in now.
