Axe and Sword? Absolutely NO.
It is Axe+Mace / GS.
Give a look:

axe/sword is only good if your team is already capping vuln and you don’t have any use for the mace knockdown. in fractals you probably want the knockdown, so just stick with axe/mace. if you dislike using GS axe/mace + axe/sword is also viable.
also NEVER use eviscerate unless you need the dodge (which is rare with GS whirl) or if you won’t be able to land the last triple chop on the boss (i.e. it will die before that). forsaking the 15% damage and crit% boost is incredibly detrimental to your DPS. sword mainhand is also a fair bit weaker DPS than axe, but even in a sword build you would want to conserve adrenaline.
I tried the build and i was actually disappointed cause i cant burst as often and the loss of 15% damage and critic every time makes me sad

What are you talking about? Please write it down better than you did, I can’t understand.
I just said that the build is not centered around using your f1 skill and doing so only punishes your dps.

There is no good pve warrior build that is centered around using your f1 skill. Plenty of bad ones available, though.
That exacly what i said this a bad one for that right
I will take a look at the build now, from the comments it is probably the build I ended up using thru common sense alone but I still need a look.
The one I was referred to was in my opinion absolutely kittened. I ended up moving to axe/mace + gs but is a build which is between wvw and pve. Which seems to be much better. I can understand the meh feeling of not using the F1 ability because it’s one more thing you COULD do but isn’t optimal.
Thanks for the guide I will check it out now… And then refer it to the guild.

Exactly, using F1 is a bad idea in any case. Good builds maintain adrenaline because of Berserker’s Power and heightened Focus, nothing to do about it.
Hey you cant have everything now can you
. You only use the f1 skill to get the dodge

That is what I ended up using which was basically one of my first builds I made after looking at the warrior going back, build up vuln and smash them down with 100b. When I got to lvl 50 I got bored of the warrior and went to several alts finally sticking to Ranger. I moved and it took my ISP to install a line 3-4 months which there was the big patches during that time. Now I don’t really like my old Ranger build and lost connection with it and found my Warrior to be fun. Thing is I wanted to get away from the mindless 100b and went S/S which I liked a lot. I am finding A/M fun again but I still don’t like the GS… I need a 2h Axe. Hammer is cool but it is slow as hell.
I will definitely respec to this and give it a shot, I’ll miss my rotation which involved evis.
After seeing this thread yesterday i decided to run some AXE build tests once again with common dps builds posted in forums before and compared it with the 30 0 0 10 30
Firstly this one the 30 0 0 10 30
Pros: Best sustained dps, Maximized power and crtical damage along with the dual weilding and axe trait
Cons: Restricted from using f1, more based on auto and stacking vulnerability
30 25 0 0 15
Pros: you get the extra 10% damage from attack of opportunity sub trait of precision, extra critical chance on burst, stack vulnerability and bleed on critics
Cons: you don’t take empower allies, loss of 15% critical damage from discipline
30 30 0 10 0
Pros : similar to the above build with an addition you get furious trait that enables you to use the f1 more often.
Cons: Loss of 30% critical damage no points taken in discipline
0 30 0 10 30 pure burst warrior
Pros : Using burst mastery and furious trait you use the f1 skill very efficiently
Cons: Loss of 300 power ,23% damage and 10% critical damage from power axe traits
I believe there are more pros and cons that you guys can see but i just mentioned the obvious ones.
I was told to use 30/30/0/0/10 with GS and Rifle. Personally I find LB better for blaster finishers and well… I like LB’s. But it also has slow weapon swap and too little in the Disc tree for my liking.
How is this build compared to the one from the vid?
LB > rifle. More damage on autoattack and the blast finishers/blinds etc are all pretty useful. 30/30 is also kind of a waste. You rarely need to swap to a ranged weapon, and most of the time you should be sticking to the axe + gs rotation.
For this reason, I would suggest 30/25/0/0/15 over 30/30; keep in mind that the 30/25 is worse than 30/0 if your group is able to upkeep might stacks well. So if you are running in a lousy PUG that doesn’t/can’t stack might you might want to use 30/25 (or if you are soloing content), and if you are in an organised group that can stack might properly use 30/0 (the build in the video).
