Hello, right now I am trying to figure out a good support sword/warhorn build for my warrior for WvW and Dungeons. Right now I am going 25 Arm, 15 Defense, 30 Tactics. Is this build good for a healing/support build? Me and a fellow guildie were figuring out what would be ideal for a good healing warrior and the gear to go with it.

Currently I am full Rampager’s and going with Power, Precision, Condition or rabid build. Could anyone help me figure out what would be an ideal support warrior build would be? If I were to go with a healing build would I go with the Full Jalis set and Sapphire or go Knights and Ruby?

What would be ideal for someone who mainly wants to be more of a healer/support specialist for WvW and Dungeons?

Generally, warrior support (healer) builds go down the Tactics trait line (Vit,Boon duration) up to the last 2 traits and choose the lower traits either around Healing shouts or Regenerating banners.
According to my humble experience, healing shouts provide more boons and condition removal (FGJ, Shake it off), but lack other control and/or survivability skills like Endure pain or Launch. Also, you need more +healing gear.
Banners providing regeneration do less spiky healing, but longer lasting and provide other buffs that stack with boons. Also, usually one banner is enough, so you can use other 2 utility skills for something else. And you don’t need much +healing gear.

Use the rest of traits however you see fit.

Other side of support can be crowd control, but I don’t have much experience with that and I see bosses with stacks of defiance so it is much harder to knock them down or otherwise disable them. Someone with more experience should provide his insight.

What do you mean by more healing gear and not much healing gear? I’m looking for more of a Survivable/Healing approach to playing as a warrior as well as a team player in both scenes. Gear wise would I go for Knight’s or go for a lot more healing and vitality which is the Jalis set with either Ruby as trinkets/accessories or Sapphire? Should I place more in toughness and less in Arms or what?

I meant that you can use as much +healing gear/runes as you want for your build, but healing shouts need it more than banners.
