Adrenalin hybrid build. Need advice.
For the first build you posted, if you have stamina signet and signet of rage, i suggest getting signet mastery over shouts giving adrenaline. 12 seconds from signet of rage and 9 seconds from signet of stamina, is nothing to ignore. Especially since i assume you will be activating them often. More uptime on them, is better i think for both dmg and survivability than shouts giving adrenaline, so long as u switch weapons constantly and hit stuff, and since u traited for getting hits gives you adrenaline, you should have more than enough adrenaline gains before the cd of your next burst skill come up.
THanks for the advice, I’m still testing these builds out lol.
No skills or anything pulled up for me, but I will say that you should use Battle Standard over Signet Rage. At least when you’re with a group, it’s an AoE downed rez, and AoE Signet of Rage
In WvW
I won’t go into detail, but the big problem I see right off the bat is that your best adrenaline gain comes from shouts and EtP. First, in your build, Shouts = 14 adrenaline/25 seconds if you use them on CD. Because your SIO is your only stun break, you won’t want to be popping it all willy-nilly nor when you aren’t conditioned. Second, EtP won’t help you unless you are getting attacked. Therefore, if you aren’t getting hit, wasted trait and lower dps. Additionally, some builds will hit you for substantial portions of your HP pool. In this case, you are screwed because they will burn you down before you get to full adrenaline.
Also, I’m an advocate of Quick Bursts because sometimes you whiff that burst. You want it back up ASAP. Having said that, that trait caters to my build because my Evis is how I take the opponent out of his game-plan. It may not be as useful in your strat.
My advice, find a build that doesn’t need to build steam. You want to go into a fight at 100%; not let some dude beat on you so you can perform at full potential. Range and slippery classes make it difficult to make a living in WvW. Find your playstyle and develop your own build that punishes players who allow you to close distance one time; because sometimes, you’ll only get one shot.
Huh wtf the skills got reset in the tree ? Lemme just fix that lol.
Edit : Fixed with a change in the 10th point discipline skill, thanks to the advice I recieved. Gonna have to make a lot more changes, as Veritas’ advice sums up the problems with my build.
This is a build I came up with today. Tried it with sword/sword, Sword/axe & sword/ shield, wearing full knight’s armor ( thats what I always use ). Worked decently in PvE. It isnt exactly the best build for soaking up damage in dungeons but the damage is good.

Just a Boon guide build i made thats for use with any weapon. It was a support/dps build that worked well with both Condition and power builds. Its a jack of all trades build that is really strong in PvE/WvW. Just figure u can look at it to get maybe some other ideas to help you perfect your build. I got two warriors, and one strictly runs this one with condition dmg, Sword-sword/Longbow. I can keep over 1700+ condition dmg up and perma swift with this build. My second warrior runs a strict sword/sheild dps build with GS for mobility. Both are incredibly fun builds imo.
Ahh cool, thanks for the info, CoaxialMazer.
