Well either way I’d still watch it.

If you have seen any of our previous weekly profession specific podcast, you would see that when it comes to the profession specific podcast we focus on two things. Bringing great content, and doing it positively. We will discuss the major issues that are preventing the warrior in pvp, as well as it’s humorous PVE reversal and neutral wvwvw position.

We will talk about stupid blocks (Mace 2). Bad traits, skills, animations, extended and easy to spot charges, and so on. The profession is on the warrior itself warts and all. However, we constantly stress to our podcasters that their is the forum way to present things and their is the sittingonacouch way. We believe in being positive about a class even when it is in a bad place, because in the midst of all the issues there are bright spots (maybe not in pvp). So there won’t be bashing, but there will be a legitimate discussion on the pluses and minuses of the Warrior as a class.

Alright, that’s good to hear! I hope you have some length of discussion about Brawn and the rumored Adrenaline Reworks. (Also all warr blocks are bad because all their chain skills are “generate a pitiful amount of adrenaline”.)

haha, those videos are ones players donate to be linked to. They are not anyone from SOAC or the hosts of the show. WE are in need of players to donate pve, wvwvw, and pvp guides and videos for warriors.

That was a fantastic podcast! Thank you Stein for bringing some discussion of very plausible changes to warrior mechanics and actually working on a detailed “thesis” of sorts for the developers, I pray they watched that. It was very interesting how many of these ideas meshed with my own train of thought and you should rest assured that you’re not the only warrior who thinks this is the right direction to go.

I liked it! I thought what schwahrheit brought up about classes having way too many defensive mechanics available while stunned that are not stun breaks was an excellent point anet should really consider. Frankly I think many of these are completely unintended and a byproduct of instant cast skills available while stunned. Not to mention my personal belief that NONE of these should be tied to low CD weapon skills or low CD class mechanics.

Also, not being a fan of dancing around the line of “offending those poor, poor children” I kind of liked how blunt and frank he was about his opinions.

Poor defektive though, his audio was completely screwy and I could only make out 40% of what he was saying. Maybe get the call up and make sure everything is fine before starting to record?

Yeah, it was nice how blunt he was. Refreshing if anything! I just want more options. It’s pretty funny to play other classes and see how much diversity they have compared to us. It’s obvious that warriors were the first thing made. We really do need a good rework like guardians had all that time ago!

I’m looking forward to that day!

I do quite a bit of pve myself but it’s a thoroughly explored game type in general and I’m curious what you’re even going to talk about in regards to warrior~

Everyone already knows the best build for pve and the entire concept of our PvP builds are rendered completely useless due to defiant so they can’t transfer over…
