Its what I feel like doing every time I start looting and I pick up some random banner on the ground. T_T

I got so tired of it that last time I picked up a banner during an event I ran off 2 miles from where the event was taking place and left the banner there~

You’re the kind of person who angers banner warriors…

In WvW your loot spawns at your feet, so if you don’t like picking up banners you shouldn’t stand near them in WvW. I find it to be pretty rare to see a warrior that uses more than one banner, so that’s usually a good way to go. In PvE, unless it’s a large event, you can likely ask any banner warriors to avoid putting their banners in the middle of a fight. And remember you can always just hit ~ to drop it instantly, instead of removing the banner from where it can be effective…

Dude, it’s not just banners maan!!! I am in the middle of a zerg spamming my F key for the loots next thing you know i’m picking some carrots and getting pwnd by a thief!!!!

Could we rename banner skill 1 to “Sweep” instead of stab while were at it. I’m so pro at cleaning the streets of Lion’s Arch with my banners. “Keeping Lion’s Arch Clean” is my moto.

I lol’ed. You know you would love to use a broom to fight. Give someone a…sweep

IMO banners should only be able to be moved by the warrior who dropped it, there are rarely situations which require a teammate to move a banner.

It’s a 2 way street. You have kitten warriors that drop them too close to parties members or bosses (ex: dungeons). They don’t realize it’s a 600m BASE range.

Because all bosses and party members stand perfectly still throughout a battle. Clearly the warrior baited the boss over to the banner during its final moments just to annoy you.

If only they would give looting it’s own Seperate key…

Yeah. Picking up banners and starting to ress NPCs when I only want to loot is a big pet peeve of mine…

OR REZZING SOMEONE! Loot needs to have it’s own designated hot key that does nothing but loot. I hate getting stuck in an animation like gathering, rezzing or picking up a banner and getting killed because of it.

Also picking up banners is so buggy that if you’re running in a direction and pick up the banner you keep running uncontrollably in that direction for a few seconds and don’t even pick up the banner.

That bug has been there and been reported since beta weekend 1 with no fix.

Loot bags/reviving players/picking stuff up/harvesting are all of the F key- dumb.
Having to stop before I pick up my banner so I don’t run off of a cliff- also dumb.

Why would you need to spam F during a fight in a dungeon? I like to keep my banner close at hand in case I want to use the blast finisher. It’s never been a problem in my experience even when the whole grou kitten tacked up. The only time F should be hit in a situation like that is to revive and even then I haven’t noticed any problems. Reviving seems to be prioritized if you’re standing on a banner and a fallen ally.

How about at least a /throw Banner skill?
