Anet, pls change female GS wielding animation
I made my warrior tiny for this very reason- I think it’s hilarious when she moves the giant weapons with ease
I have no problems with tiny girls weaving out-scaled weapons if you have checked all the screenshot links, they are all pretty huge weapon types. It’s the combat animation doesn’t have the feeling of the character wielding it with ease and combo her power with it.
You can also check that last link of the animation in slow motions, it’s pretty awesome when the weapon is like part of the character.
Actually, I’ve always felt that “Animation Packs” should be a thing in the Gemstore.
You’d buy packs to unlock new animations, and you can swap to the pack just like equipping a glider or finisher. I imagine with the three highly similar humanoid races (humies, norn, salads) you could probably reuse existing animations.
In this case, the human female could probably use the human male, or sylvari female animations with little to no changes needed. Charr and Asura might be a bit more difficult.
“Voice Packs” could be a thing too.
actually, from a standpoint of a proper way to hold a claymore, females would be much better off in combat than their male counter parts in gw2. you cannot hold a greatsword like that while running(male) and expect to be able to perform any sort of swings with it.

The gs pose may be perfect for light female: heavy weapon ready to swing. If you see good pose in other games, please take screenshot. I watched the BD scythe video but it was not clear what was the good pose, or animation.
Character animations in gw2 are so good that they should think twice or more before changing.
i also already made request like this since forever…
for this reason i made so many stupid decision…
but, too many people back then (idk about now) was reasoning and said “that’s how the actual stance IRL”…..“that’s how it should be” blablbalbalbalbalbalab and i’m tired of that…
when it comes to human female GS, they said about reality of how it should be,…but hey…isn’t this fantasy game? how about that asura can carry GS in their shoulder….tiny creatures can do that…but humans can’t…etc etc etc….mmhhmm…please tell me more…
if they can’t change the pose…i want at least the AA animation to look exactly like norn female…it feels so powerful…not human female with random squeeky voice…and so weak AA moves…

it does help to know a thing or two about historical fighting!
so far the only game i’ve seen to come anywhere close to it is uh, for honor. i would LOVE to see our characters holding their claymores in their left hand while running. that would not only look awesome but yeah it would look awesome and physics wouldn’t break our characters arms off.

Ok we get it, you like Black Desert female characters.
You say you hate the GS animations, but Black Desert animations aren’t close to being realistic either. It’s often even worse in my opinion. Not even mentionning how the game has extremely poor distance view in-game and graphics aren’t that amazing as in pictures/videos.
You expect a human to carry a huge weapon with a single hand ? Yea the devs gave you guys some asian/anime faces but Guild Wars 2 isn’t a manga.
