Whenever I wield rifle, it feels quite off. Maybe the attack is too slow or lack of AoE. Rifle 5 is rarely used if not at all. Rifle burst deals good damage only if it hits. Usually it does not. Any serious rifle build?

Depends on what you consider wvw to be. I mean warrior have very specific roles in melee trains which is the meta.

I think Rifle warrior can fill a void in a small group that is lacking ranged classes and can take the role of a melee ranged. Small group meaning less than 10 with no real comp.

Rifle can be a good dueling weapon in the right warriors hands.

Lastly it has its uses in gank squad comps that focus target to take advantage of its decent single target damage.

That being said if how u are playing falls outside of this there are better warrior build that dont use rifles and Long bow is way better in most cases.

Rifle is a bit stronger than Longbow, but it can’t match the latter’s utility. So, in the end, longbow is a better ranged option

Most of the time in WvW, Warrior Rifle is there to pop Kill Shots in zergs, since there is so much going on it rarely gets avoided. Outside of that…not a whole lot in my experience.

There is really just one real rifle warrior build, some variations in gear/runes/utility’s but the traits are always pretty much the same.

Just be aware you need to be very comfortable at playing a glass cannon to be able to do much in wvw. If you can handle it though, prepare to blow people away!

Last night on NA wvw reset. A friend and i played two rifle wars. It took about 6-7 ppl + respawns to take us down. Its very challenging to keep people away from you and to kite away as it is very anti-warrior mentality. But repeatedly kill shotting people and lining them up so it hits multiple people for ^10k+ dmg with piercing shot is hilarious. A time before four of us ran just rifles and in 6v10 wiped the group of 10 3-4 times with respawns close to the bridges in the south parts of the BLs.
