Was thinking if there was anything changed about the meta for warriors in zergplay.
Usually ran 0/0/30/25/15 or 10/0/30/30/0, somewhere in those lines (shouts with Soldier gear and zerk weps/trinkets).

My guess would be nothing has changed atm?

I would say the meta is ….

20 in Defense to get Cleaning ire, 15 in Discipline to get fast hands with warrior’s sprint. Equip either sword or GS to get mobility. Otherwise almost everything goes.

Lately I run 3 builds depends on my mood:

GS/Hammer Power: 0/10/30/0/30 or 0/20/30/0/20

Sw+Sw/LB conditional burst: 0/20/20/0/30 or 0/30/20/0/20

Sw+Sw/LB Shout heal: 0/10/20/30/10

I would say the shout heal conditional build are probably the most powerful, in zerg or roam.

So for the Shout Heal build, Sword+Sword instead of Sword+Warhorn?

just dont forget to stack 25 crit chance and slot Sigil of Perception on your underwater weapon so you dont lose the stacks.

Sw+Sw is for conditional build. My guess is that when run with a zerg you can switch your 2nd sw to Warhorn.

For power build I would get a combination of zerker + knight, and maybe couple of solider pieces.

For conditional shout heal build that I was talking about, you get a combination of Dire and Apothecary.

I tested various builds in sPvP I found that conditional shout heal build is probably the best. For Wvw zerg though, pretty much everything would work.

Soldier’s requires badges, right so I guess I will just go power with Knight’s and graduate to Berserker as I learn to survive.
But that leads me away from the Shout build and toward a Hammer build.
Oh well, gotta learn to crawl before walking then running. :-)

Soldier does not require badge. You get get them from TP.
