in the future warriors will be able to use the focus offhand weapon.
they won’t cast magic, just beat people with it, but much lol’s will be had when a warrior holds a thief down and murders him with a squeedily spooch
or pegs a mesmer in the back of the head with the anomaly
I haven’t heard it discussed by developers yet.

Polearms that can be used on land. And a 2 handed battleaxe are the most likely candidates for new weapons. I don’t get why there wasn’t a 2 handed battle axe to begin with. Vikings used them all the time and norn are pretty Viking-ish. It pretty much needs to happen at some point. Flails would be nice too. And I don’t care how impractical it is, I want to dual wield rifles and be like Rambo.
I like the polearm idea..
