Anyone with builds completely untouched?
That’s fine, but it not affecting you doesn’t mean it’s a great change. Like saying it’s OK to ban Classical because you only listen to Metal (except Classical is nowhere being “meta” regarding people’s listening habits.) :P
Sad thing is I never used the “OP” build everybody is complaining about, but still gotta pay the price for other’s PvPers habits of wanting to use what everybody else does to “dominate” (granted, this also happens with Dungeon speed runners, though those FotM builds are rarely addressed/nerfed.)
I guess I am stuck with less than 40% critical chance, even after fury. :P The burst was the only time my Hammer warrior had any reliable chance to critical, and I usually bashed zombies heads more than any WvWer’s. Not worth to buy UF now for my playstyle needs, sadly-and it will be much like having a permanent “weakness” condition on me. :P
My wvw axe/shield build getting +70 power. Thats about it
Wanted to add, will anyone still use UF after this? I am sure it could be done, but it seems unlikely to me that it will be attractive for many players now (probably cheaper point-wise to just use Precision armor.)
Though it’s boring that everybody runs the same darned thing (and who knows if a few hardcore WvW Guilds may REQUIRE their members to adapt to the meta), it does feel like a pretty strong nerf to most Hammer builds.
No offense, I understand the supposed reasoning behind the nerfs, just not sure if they took account PvE at all, as I never found the Hammer to ever be the most powerful Warrior weapon choice.

This one was balanced around hotjoin heroes/casuals.
I just went back to a bunker build. Hammer doesn’t do much now so it won’t change anything.
My S/S & LB build was almost untouched except for a minuscule change to the amount of adrenaline gained from combustive shot.
Here is a link to the build: http://youtu.be/IxBU1sgjtBc
I will maintain the Hammer build for wvw roaming.
It was godlike before nerfs (can’t say it didn’t deserve it).
It will be probably more challenging to use, but most likely still a pretty strong Build.
We will see.
Getting really nice buffs to my build, was a beast and will go on to untouchable. Especially with thiefs out of the picture.

Which is why it is a terrible idea. 3+ million copies sold..only 10,000 regularly pvp. That means most of the patches have been based on 0.5% of game play, that is often in a flawed MMR system of where the veterans get placed against new comers. Reducing hammer by 25-33%..that alone shows questioable thinking. Changing burst mastery to separate dmg from stun?..that will also effect every other weapon as well, even though it is only targeted at hammer. The quote i like best is, “We don’t mind warriors having large damage or large control, it is just how easy they can do both.”
I don’t mind engi’s and necro doing large amount of conditions and aoe control…it’s just how easily they can do both…..seems the what is good for the goose is not good for the gander.
Just tried my new and “improved” (or not?) Hammer shout build, with zero discipline points, so no UF: 0/0/25/30/15. Works great, but the damage was lessened quite a bit since it lacks that 100 Precision it used to have, and of course no UF. With Soldier’s Runes, Cleansing Ire doesn’t matter as much, and it is a shout build after all-it has Merciless Hammer instead. Having extra points it’s nice for the extra power for Toughness on 25 points, and fast hands, which I love.
Problem is that after the patch the damage will be even less. :P If Unsuspecting Foe was the problem (because it theoretically allowed for builds to be too offensive and defensive at the same time), why didn’t they try “fixing” that first, rather than nerf both damage AND UF? O.o
We should be glad they didn’t touch Healing Signet, as it’s honestly hardly “OP” at all, and nerfed it would have become basically rather useless.
Hammer playstyle is still much more enjoyable than the other weapons for me, though the other weapons can be fun too. So I will keep playing mostly Longbow/Hammer, as I used to do WAY before people gave it any thought. Less damage is sad, but it still works and remains fun-just ironic how such a big weapon will hit for so comparatively little damage.
(I still think they will be good weapons for team WvW, as only the damage component will be affected, their CC element remaining untouched.)
Does “nothing but buffs” disqualify me from claiming “untouched” status?
0/10/30/30/0 sword + horn/longbow w/regen banners
More power from defense 25, faster cooldown for spiked armor, improved rez-might from tactics 25.
If you were just sort of minding your own business rolling group/zerg support, this patch will be downright generous.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

I am already using 0/30/20/0/20 mace/shield + gs. The only thing I’ll have to get used to is the increase in casting time on mace burst. Thanks to this OP, I might add.
Will it matter? No. Bads will be bads.
