Arcing Arrow
So i used to use longbow for WvW zergs with zerker.
I usually hit them for 8-10k crits.
Now I hit them for 4k crits mostly.
After I seen that damage, i sit down and asked myself “Okay what can I do for my server in WvW if all my damages are like kitten p00p?”
And I still have no answer.
The 10k hits were a bit stupid, I’m not gonna lie. It scaled extremely well and hit for 5-6k even on Soldier builds.
But the 15% nerf combined with the Ferocity nerf is a little much, I agree, and a little uncalled for. They should have waited to see how Ferocity played out before going through with it.

Well, on long range it has some the delay, so it’s kinda like a skillshot.
Too bad nobody sees anything in a fight, so there are barely skillshots in this game.XD

Only way really to reach 10K Arcing Arrow hits was if you were for the most part full zerker, or the target had no toughness to begin with.
I had a power heavy build with 81% crit dmg, on average I would hit about 5-6K. Now it seems like it is around 3-4K.

It’s amazing how much nerfs can be amplified when you take the highest crit on an uplevel vs. the lowest crit on a tanky lvl 80. If you actually think that the patch made you go from 9k crits to 4k crits, then I suggest you make a video with some sampling to inform Anet of this bug.
No I don’t think the nerf was too much, it’s an aoe on a low cd that hit for 10k. If people are talking about nerfs being too strong try a condibunker build using a bow then a doom rune on it Poision + Bleeds + Fire and that damage tick from the burst is crazy.
