Right guys, I’ve called my warrior my main for just over 3 years, checked out this forum periodically, say every other week (nothing really happens, we understand where we are at at most points in the meta game and we accept it for the most part cause…warrior).

Put a point to be made.

I have never seen a forum admin or a in-game arena net warrior. Ever.

Literally I see that arena net tag in game, I check and it’s a mesmer, an ele, a ranger, thief, thief, thief, thief, guard, etc.

I can’t recall ever seeing a single arena net mod in our forum either (wait, no the first year, we had that guy, uhh dave?) You know, someone that answers our questions. I know they exist because I check the other classes forums and they answer questions and talk to their respective classes.

Just wondering if you guys have seen one lately.

I cannot agree with you more! I was in GW2 beta since it launch, and for 2 years recently I have never ever seen any Moderator answering questions about Warrior in this sub-forum, only moderator to delete threats and remove nonsense posts. Is it so that he or she does not concern or know of Warrior? I do not know the answer.

Same things happen in-game, no Anet employee I have seen is playing a warrior. What is happening guys???

Yeah, no dev response since bwe1. None at all whatsoever.

Devs don’t step foot in this subforum because they know some people would just angrily jump at them for the state the warrior is in at the moment. So I honestly don’t blame them for just ignoring this subforum until the next balance patch comes out.

If there were more people giving useful feedback and calmly explaining what they think is wrong with the profession, they would probably consider responding.
Unfortunately this subforum is instead full of threads about people complaining, crying and begging for buffs, making it a pretty undesirable place for devs.

I remember Devs happily playing war, and doing wvw on War back when they got buffed to Godmode however long ago. Remember when War was godmode and stayed that way for a long long time? Yeah.

so we have to break one in order to make ppl reroll to that new class…
so.. which one should we break?? guards or war??
war it is..
and so the nerf wave began.. 1 year or so later.. we got HoT xpack and ReV class..
it does everything we do…but better..
and so the reroll wave started..just like they expected…

They stayed strong for quarter as long as what D/D celestial ele remained apex predator. Even when warrior was in its prime, you didn’t see any ESL finals team run 3+ of them. Talking about the past is not evidence enough to justify their performance currently.

No, it’s just contrary testimony to the claim that Devs never played War; since, you know, they did.

Rytlock should have seen it coming….

Don’t we all see when we met Rytlock in the first act, he answered Rox that “he is better than the ever”…. If Rev isn’t overall better than a warrior he won’t say that, right?

I believe there’s an anet dev named Nightmare who plays shoutbow occasionally in pvp. I was in a queue with him and grouch shortly after HoT release, but I haven’t him since. Also he was getting chilled to death by a condi reaper while attempting to bunker home if that’s any indication of the current state of warriors.

Oh, i know that guy called Nightmare with Arenanet tag.

It was like 2 months ago and he was with Anas Tatcis as premade team. He was dueling me and at the near end of time he got almost pwned by me, Tarcis came to rescue him from me and said him to leave to duel me to make him alive by running away. (i even have video recorded about it, but i won’t release it cuz it is too sensitive)

But he didn’t leave from duel even tho Tarcis said leave, thus his premade team lost to my team. I guess he was kinda upset, but I can evaluate and value his personality for his pride. Even tho he lost, but he was man, the real dude. Right?

Anyway, the point what i can guess and infer from this perspective and commumication that Nightmare and Anas Tarcis did each other is that, if he is real dev, he probly do not support other anet devs to buff war, simply becuz he is very friendly to Anas Tarcis, and the most problem is that Anas Tarcis have already ditched warrior, but play Revnant instead. Thus there is like no reason to support warrior for him since Tarcis ditched it already (be sure that this is just my assumption).

This is all i can say. Like we have no future.

We have given feedback, we gave feedback for months on end on what the problems with warrior class are and provided ideas on how to fix it but the Devs just ignore it and keep making things worse every time they touch something. There is no more constructive feedback to be given. We are just calling it the way it is, a lazy kitten job at class balance.

Now I just reroll to the FOTM and I am much happier not giving a kitten about my favorite class anymore. I suggest that everyone who isn’t happy about the state of warrior do the same.
