Guild Wars 2

Loving my little kitten warrior so far, currently level 53 and I’ve got a silly amount of skill points saved up. Wondering if I should choose Rampage or D-Series Golem as my super big awesome mighty elite skill for PvE leveling, or just stick with Signet of Rage for the time being.

Also, which elite should I be using in dungeon groups? I run a longbow/hammer build but never really use the second. GS just seems boring as all get-out. I like hammer a lot, but avoiding damage is much more difficult than just sticking with longbow.

Signet of Rage and Warbanner are the only things you’ll ever need. Warbanner is excellent for those “Oh shi-” situations in dungeons. Signet of Rage is good for soloing because of the awesome active (the passive effect is rather crap).

Honestly you’ll never want Rampage, it’s unfortunately pretty useless everywhere right now (And it feels like it does less DPS than autoattacks). Signet of Rage is pretty much the go-to elite just for the active – it’s like a personal buffed version of For Great Justice, and you can pretty much have 100% uptime traited, about 70% not traited (Which is awesome.)

While I was levelling I found the charr warband racial (Similar) kind of useful though, albeit situationally. If you use it you can have some time to breathe while hostile creeps aggro onto your Warbros. I even use them now and again in Fractals for when you need to survive longer, IE the dredge fractal or defending the arms in Cliffside, but don’t expect them to be anything other than sacrificial lambs. I wouldn’t suspect much different from Asura racials, although I hear the 7-series CAN do quite a bit of damage if it doesn’t die for long enough to do it.
