Guild Wars 2

I’m having trouble coming up with a new build for my warrior after all the changes. While they were all positive, the trait changes completely gutted my old build and I’m not sure what to do now. Does anyone have a good build for an axe/horn & rifle set up? It would be mostly for roaming in WvW, open world PvE, and the occasional sPvP. I prefer something with decent damage (read: not a bunker), but I also don’t want to be a gc that shatters as soon as more than one person looks at you funny. Any suggestions for gearing and traits would be appreciated, thanks.

I would think 20 tactics and 30 discipline for sure. Discipline is quite good for axe since you get great synergy with the burst recharge reduction and sharpened axes. Dump the rest wherever depending on what you want (more damage, more support, condition removal, etc.).

I guess I would try and push 20 strength for the remaining points to get the trait that adds 10% more crit damage if you favor the axe or go 20 in arms for the rifle piercing shots trait if you favor the rifle.

Oh and I’d use melandru runes for the extra toughness and eat lemongrass for condition removals.
