Guild Wars 2

I thought this trait made you immune from control effects, the biggest being “feared”. Well I find in WvW this is not working like I thought it would. People are still able to use this effect on my toon. Any Ideas??

Well first off that trait has a 90 second ICD. Several professions can remove boons, and necromancers can corrupt boons into conditions

it also activates on the FIRST CC effect that you get hit with. so if you get hit with a knockback or knockdown, then its going to trigger, if when the 8 seconds duration is up when you get hit with fear, you are going to be cc’d with fear, because your trait chooses when to fire, not you, like if you would slot it in a utility instead.

more than likely a necro just used corrupt boon, this turns boon into conditions and conveniently it turns stability into fear, problem solved close thread please ^^
