I would like to suggest a few improvments to banners that I think the whole population could agree on.

  1. Particle effect showing range. We need something to show our party and ourselves when we are in range of the banner its annoying that you have constantly look at your boons to see it go in and out of range. A circle particle effect – SOMETHING NEW would be nice. not the cookie cutter aoe art that casters have. let the art team come up with a warrior look based off what banner is being used.
  1. increase the range, base banner is about 5 yards. improved is about 10-15 yards. both should be increased.
  1. add better effects, The trait" Inspiring battle standard" adds regen to the banners when they are down. I suggest you keep the trait but change it to add an effect more inline with the type of banner.

DPS Banner -

does damage over time to any enemy in range. – low damage of course like a guardians seal damage. NO REGEN

CRIT Banner -

Lowers the crit chance of enemys in range or slows the enemy in banner range. NO REGEN

TOUGHNESS Banner -

Grants Aegis every 30-40 secs to allies in range. NO REGEN

BOON/ HEALING Banner -

Leave the Regen on this banner, ONLY.

Doing this would add some differant options with the banners and make for some more intersting warrior builds. The way they are now they are not used enough and almost all warriors save there slots for / charge, knockdowns, might buffs, and signets. I think this would also make the dead opponents of warriors happy because it would promote a better build diversity.

I would love a visual indication of my banner’s range. The War Banner has that awesome symbol on the ground when you plant it, why not have something similar (and persistent) for all banners?

And of course I’d love the banner field to give some kind of debuff to my enemies! Maybe that could be an added effect if you trait into banners?

Banner range seems pretty good already to be honest. It says 600 but I think that’s just the drop range, cause I’ve ventured pretty far away during boss battles and still kept the buff (allowing for that delay too.)

To be honest I think that if a banner that buffed and healed allies, as well as debuffing enemies, would be rather overpowered. Perhaps a choice in traits that decided whether it debuffed enemies or buffed allies?

Also, I adore the healing on each banner, even with zero points put into healing power they double my passive health regen to 500 health per second. I would say the healing effect should stack, but again… That would be rather overpowered, imagine dropping 4 banners providing almost 1000 health regen per second to each ally CONSTANTLY. So yea, I think they’re pretty good the way they are, however a shiny glittery AoE would be nice :P

Lol banner range is huge i dropped one yesterday testing it at the weapon smith in LA an had regen up to BLTC entrance thats huge

Not true you prolly ran to the BLTC and still saw the buff on you. its a lingering buff you have to move wait, move wait,move wait about a 5 sec wait to see if the buff drops off. Its actually really small area unless you get the trait to extend it. I would actually compare it to the Necro Seals with staff its probably the same they can also increase that size with a trait. Would be better understood with a particale border effect though.

As far as the buffs Yeah the banners should loose all regen if they have there buffs changed.
