I know I read somewhere that AoE effects can only affect 5 people. I was curious as to whether or not that applied to a banner’s buff. Mostly thinking about WvW or big events in the world. If it they are limited the increased area of effect trait isn’t worth much in those situations and I might be best off bringing multiple banners to provide more benefit with the Inspiring Battle Standard trait. If it isn’t limited by the 5 person limit, then I can bring one banner, plant it in front/near an objective, take the increased banner area trait and not worry about it.

5 per banner you place. If you have the banner regen trait, you can get 20 people covered by setting banners around the area.
