I know this probably wont’t happen but i was thinking that warriors who trait into banners should carry them on their back instead of the awkward picking them up and dropping them which is so time consuming if your on the move alot. I made a thread about this a few months back but there was no replies. My suggestion was to make the them more like the Sashimono that the samurai go to battle with and each banner can be activated to give some boons, the passive bonus would be the same though. Anyway here is the thread i made, let me know what you think.

I’d like to see improvements to the banners as well. Warriors are in a big need for protection. If i could see a way of getting protection, it would be with a shout and/or Banner of defense as a way to get it.

Banners being locked in one place is a major flaw, please fix it. As well as giving us the weapon stats when equipping a banner, that really sucks.

p.s – would doubling the stats given by banners be OP? I find them kind of weak but not in a way that it sucks.

Doubling the stats will NOT make them OP. But making it double won’t make that much of a diff. You only really use Banners for permanent team-regeneration in tPvP or resurrection with Battle Standard.

WvW you probably don’t want to use Banners because of trolls.

Thats why carrying the banner on your back would be more suitable for wvwvw so noone can rob it and it would just make everything so much easier by cutting out all the bs of re-locating it all the time.

I didnt realy look at the stats of the banner but now i have and they are pretty weak for there passive bonus, definately needs a boost. Look at the rangers spirits, they take up a utility slot just like the warriors banners, but spirits are just so much better.

How about… twice the stats, banner on the back, one banner at a time per warrior?

Don’t forget that picking up a banner reduces your stats because it is counted as “un armed” (your weapon’s stats don’t count).

Exactly, hence the idea of putting the banners on your back instead of wielding it.
