In short, given the current lacking state of Warrior in pvp. There is no way players could possibly get an objective or balanced view of the Berserker in a BWE.

In what way exactly? Honestly, I’ve barely played warrior, but this elite spec looks cool as hell with a lot of neat tools, and Robert Gee has probably the best track record of any balance dev when it comes to elite specs.

Actually the state of the warrior in spvp is really underestimated why a good warrior can really deal a high amount of damage, survive to anything, fight AoE with gs and clean conditions every single moment, with it’s usual immunity to damage and conditions that make it hated by a lot of classes and players.

Now, if the warrior will be able to recharge faster it’s adrenaline to obtain faster a F1 skill (with lower damage but with best effects), activating also a lot of traits (clean 3 condition recharging only a single bar of adrenaline? obtain a good passive healing with only a single bar of adrenaline? It seems nice to me!).

Condition damage is the only thing the Warrior is still unable to do properly, then it’s the focus of the specializzation. Burn is really powerfull in spvp, the same about all the other conditions if mixed to deal damage.

The only thing I can’t belive is that Devs put another Phisical skill set on the warrior!
Is the Only that have Phisical skills and they’re actually bad in every situations of the game (only rush can be good with the GS combination) and what they give to the warrior? Another Phisical Skill Set!
They said that Rage Skills will deal different effects and grant better things to happen, but ehy, they look more or less the same thing to me.

out of that, I belive in that specializzation. It add something that warrior is actually unable to do and can be combined with the actual playstile pretty well.

And we have still to see the traits!
For example: reaper have horrible shouts but the Reaper Shroud and it’s Traits will make the necromancer a god on earth!

Let’s see what’s coming with that specializzation!

I would have preferred something that improves defenses and brings warriors closer to what guardians and revs have defensively, but this looks fun as hell too and the animations look absolutely crazy.

I think they missed an occasion to give us an offhand burst though. Oh will, next elite spec then.

I would have preferred something that actually reinvigorated the class instead of relatively minor updates being played off as major changes. I mean their big update is skull crack now applies conditions and arcing shot leaves a trail of fire? Who cares, no one was asking for either one of those things. I ask you who plays a condi build with a mace mainhand? Oh arcing shot already gave us a great fire field we don’t need have a fire trail on it, that adds next to nothing in versatility.

To me the animations look bleh as well, just particle effects on top of existing animations.

My concern is Rage skills. They are like physical skills (but grant adrenaline on use), and as such blind spam will completely hard counter Rage skills.

Berserker should address warriors main failing in PvP, which is that blind spam hard counters warriors. It is no secret that popular ele and mesmer builds have frequent access to blinds, and man handle warriors.

Berserker should address warriors main failing in PvP, which is that blind spam hard counters warriors. It is no secret that popular ele and mesmer builds have frequent access to blinds, and man handle warriors.

Right now its both, blind and lack of sustain what kills warrior. Lets face it, we have some semblance of viability because of double endure pain. Take that away and we melt like ice in the middle of the Sahara.
