Berserker stance
It lowers the condition duration by 100%, meaning if you have 0% condi duration you wont be able to deal damage to him (immune). But if you have +40-50% condi duration, your conditions will still tick for that 40% of the time. This last part ain’t happening at the moment and is bugged.
I am sure the Devs are aware of it, why it hasn’t been changed yet? Maybe they like it this way and concider this bug as proper working, because they like how it works now? I have no idea.
As for the engineer, I don’t think it is overpowered. The condition meta is so so strong atm. I got a condi warrior and could burst 15k condi damage in 3s and after that still like 3k/s. This is in WvW ofcourse, but still condis rule the seen and are more powerfull than power builds for now. Conditions stick on you and deal damage over time. So when you drop and engineer to 25% you just can’t put extra conditions on him, but the ones already on him will still tick. It would be much stronger if it cleared all conditions off him aswel. And the duration ain’t that long either. No, i don’t think it is even close to OP.
These are just counters to your build, learn to deal with it.

Ok thank you for the answer, I already knew about how it should work, yet it doesn’t. I would assume that they could easily fix this problem but they aren’t.
Even if they were to like it how it is atm. why not just change the destription to "You are immune to all conditions for 8 seconds. " ? Makes no sense.
As for the enginners goes, yes I know how you can put conditions on them and when they fall below 25% hp they don’t get cleansed, but in spvp it isn’t that likely that you are going to be able to put alot of conditions on an engy before he hits 25%, I know it is possible cause I have done it but still pretty hard.
And as far as I am concerned people in WvW shouldn’t even care about such things, cause there are no 1v1 or 2v1 fights. Spvp is a totally different category then WvW, and a bug like this makes quite alot of hmm… how should I say unbalanced things?
And one more thing, I am kinda surprised that you would just assume that I don’t know how to play vs them, cause I never hinted that I have a problem playing against this bug, I am just annoyed alot because there is no discussion about it, and I just wanted to make a topic so that someone would actually see this, and found out that IT IS a bug.

Yes true, if you compare its cooldown and how long it stays on you, yes no big deal. But have you ever played a terror necromancer or any kind of condition necromancer vs a warrior? If the warrior is good or if he plays the cc build, he will kill you in less then 15 seconds, you cant fear him or cripple, chill etc. The only thing you can do is run around till he uses all his skills.
So as far as I am concerned even if it has 60 second CD, those 8 seconds make it up for it.
And on top I actually just made an example if you go 1v1, but on a real map the cd isn’t that long at all.
But still even if it wasn’t that big of a deal, anet could at least do something about it. At least changed the destription. But they just let this kind of bug be in-game. I don’t care what they do with it, they can fix it or just change what it does. Altough I would prefer that they would at least fix the bug.

We also got endure pain which is like skill and grants immunity to power attacks(ofc you knew this already) so it’s cool to have immunity to conditions too! You sneaky necro want just to kill me 8seconds faster!!!
Also there is 1vs1 and 1vs2 or even small group vs small group in WvW! You just need to know where to look! I do these fights alot in WvW. That’s why I duel in WvW instead of sPvP, I got my own really customization able gear allowing to make all kind of different builds and no need to go the most OP builds.

haha exactly, I wish people would stop moaning (I don’t mean OP, OP seems pretty decent in this thread, I mean the anti-warrior in general.
8 seconds out 60? Personally I don’t even bother using Berserker stance or any of the stances for that matter as the cooldowns are just ridiculous. Just run from the warrior while he has Berserker Stance or Endure Pain up. The stance even starts flashing as it’s about to run out. It’s not that hard to spot lol.
While of course the bug with berserker’s stance needs to be fixed i don’t think it’ll change much. People tend to favour condition dmg over duration anyway due to the ease of conditions being removed. I doubt this would change if this bug is fixed.
Thing is though you can remove berserker’s stance and all it’d do is make warriors even more likely to use melandru runes and lemon grass soup along with dogged march for a lofty -98% duration on immob, chill and cripple and -65% duration on everything else.
I do find it funny that when everyone’s obsessed with making condi bunkers you want a nerf to a utility that grants condition immunity. It’s only 13% of the time. I spend a higher proportion of time during fights getting some distance to regen some hp.

Well, I thought about one simple change : Keep duration, keep cd, but make Zerker stance reduce the damage from conditions to 0 or greatly decrease it. This way, Warrior won’t take any damage from current and further conditions, but it’s possible to stack them up and, biggest thing, it’s possible to kite warrior with Cripple, Chill, Immobilize. So it’d increase counterplay when making you immune to damage, not effect of condition

It’s a team game. Where are your teammates? Have them deal with the big, scary Warrior while he’s all foaming at the mouth and stuff.

because that wouldn’t make sense, if you are immune to condition why are you still taking damage by conditions that are already applied.

8 seconds is not enough only if you are “me noplaybutzerkersopro” sure. anything else will out last it way longer, not to mention with death shroud, you clearly don’t play necro or you are one of those ""me noplaybutzerkersopro"

because that wouldn’t make sense, if you are immune to condition why are you still taking damage by conditions that are already applied.
Maybe make it only apply to incoming conditions and not existing ones?
