That’s a sign that something might be in balance… when you can’t use the same build to beat everything a different class can throw at you.

Taking credit for build creation is kinda pointless at this point. Certain combos are well know or just obvious to the point where most builds almost makes itself.

The “new meta” is just the old interrupt build that many tried the day the expansion came out only with new buffs.

About build creation, hibify def made the mace shield sword torch condi confusion build.

Having followed the forums, I thought the same thing. But saying anything would be silly XD

That said, my understanding was that he threw it togeather and played it before coming to the forums to post his findings. Thus the question was answered in a fair and direct manner as far as his perspective was concerned.

Creating a build in my opinion is not only combining traits and armor etc. For pvp its also about defining the playstyle, teamrole, 1v1 matchups etc

Tbh I don’t even care, I don’t even play this game competitive atm. The “I made it” is always a troll to people who doesn’t show respect to whoever actually put effort to invent a potential meta and share with community and letting the community know that the invention is working.

Some people want the credit, some people steal the credit, and some people don’t appreciate the inventor and been jealous. These situation happens in irl too.

Part of the reason why a lot of time I don’t really want to share something to the community is because that pretty much 70% of the community are like the third types of people I talk about, but then I realized I shouldn’t even care and help the other 30% community.

But as the spirit in martial art, never lock yourself with your own invention, share with others, and make it better.

People that care so much that have to log on forum or take screenshot to make fun of it, all I can say is you got trolled, and you are probably the third type of people that I’m talking about. You never think about if someone doesn’t share this with you, at this point you probably still think warrior is unplayable.

Apparently, if you stream you’re the best player ever because you got sheeps that don’t know any better scream and banter for you. Gotta agree with dominik, thousands run the build and shared it but got ignored completely until a streamer does it and suddenly he’s the father of everything inventor of greatness. Whatever.

Best thing to do is to just shrug it off and pretend it’s like Apple claiming they invented everything like rounded corners shape etc etc.

If the screen shot comment was aimed at me, the purpose of the screenshot was to show an instance of a general opinion “out there” that berserker is now viable.

I’m not a warrior main. I don’t get wound up about build ownership etc. I even just defended your “I made it” comment XD

Back before the June 2015 patch when all trait choice diversity got wrecked by Anet, you could say someone can come up with a unique build. But since then anyone with half a brain (and knows his class) can come up with the best build really easily and independently.

I was playing sword torch mace shield merc build and I never saw hibify . The wheel can be invented by many diff people at the same time especially with the “LEGO” style trait system we have now .

Yeah designing a build isn’t the hardest thing ever, know your trade offs and pick your preferences.

Lol ironically, its more Adrenal Health that’s viable than berserker itself xD the reason which makes berserker viable now is that its extremely ez mode to get adrenal health since you can primal burst spam pretty much. Without Adrenal Health berserker would be back to where it was a few weeks ago O.o which is kind of sad because it makes you realize how a change to a single minor trait in a line that isn’t even in the elite spec has altered the performance of the entire class.
