For the most part, I can kill every single player I encounter in public matches, except for the really good mesmers which most likely play a lot of tournaments.

Example build (there are many variations):

0, 10 (IV), 20 (I,VIII), 10 (VI), 30 (VI,X,VIII)

The purpose of this post is to inform warriors that there is semi-viable builds for warrior. This build is nothing new and has been around for ages.

The drawback of the build is you cannot miss your stuns. Reflect missles is also good.

EDIT: Lyssa runes, Shake It Off, Signet of Stamina, Frenzy, Sigil of Paralyzation, Leeching, and Energy

Inherent weakness is mesmer the class itself, as a build that is very stun reliant mesmer has stun breaks coming out the whazo and stun will miss since u’ll waste it on a clone most of the time. Other weakness includes eles, and if a ranger pops Rampage as One its GG.

I am new to the warrior for wvw, my main is a thief with greater than 25k kills, and have found the warrior to be sub-par, particularly for my solo playstyle, until trying out your build.

The complaints of the lack of sustainability for the warrior is true, added to that that many of a warriors main attacks just misses completely (bull’s charge, gs#5, etc), lack of any escapes (even endure pain is a subpar damage mitigator compared to other classes let alone the few teleports or stealth , or in some cases both, that other classes receive), explains why there are so few warriors being played at the high level, even in groups where they are at their best.

But regardless, I will play a warrior class with my rogue class like I have ever since Everquest, Daoc, Vanguard, Rift and now GW’s. I hope the developers start using some contingency probability trees (that is branches indicating probability of attack vs prob. of getting hit with each round of combat ) like they do in finance to calculate expected payoffs for financial contracts because then you could really address the balance between the classes and it would show how lacking the warrior really is. <small rant over>

Anyways back to the OP, thanks again for this , it seems quite a fun build.

I actually don’t have problems with necros. My shout heals and stun breaks allow me to outheal their corrupt boons.

With the recent change they only corrupt up to 5. You gain more than 5 boons and last time I corrupted someone using lyssa it did NOT remove stability so lyssa rune is still a good choice.

On the wiki it says it turns stability into fear. You say they have a priority system for boons?

Ya, different boons get different priority I THINK, either that or its random which 5 gets corrupted.

However, I still like -20% duration, too.
