Just to start off, I already have a geared 80 ele so I’m already familar with basic mechanics/etc.

In my late 20’s on my warrior and I’m just pveing with a greatsword/signet build since everything melts so quick. However, for dungeons/etc, I’m assuming this won’t work as well. I’m guessing I should keep more support-ish support skills and keep a mace/shield weapon set for body blocking and the such, but what about damage? Is greatsword king or am I better off going axe/axe? Thanks!

I’ve done a few explore mode dungeons and you spend most of your time using rifle, I only switch to axe / axe when it’s safe to do so. The concept of “blocking” and “tanking” don’t really work to well in this game, support, definitely. I worry more about effectively using my shouts and rezzing people that I do about trying to do, or prevent, damage.

I generally run axe/axe + bow for dungeons. I pack a shield in case there is a need for it. I run a healing shouts build, so it gives alot of support to the party (and if you go healing shouts you will be tanky).

Don’t be the guy who walks into a party with 5 signets and a GS on. No one will want you in their party. You will pop your 100B, then die instantly and make others res you non-stop, while offering nothing to the team.

Call me when this game gets fixed…. if it ever does….

I disagree 100%. I seem to do just fine and dandy with sigs Not that its 100% the best. But when you have your traits set right, know when to bob and weave, you can do just fine. I love my greatsword. whirlwind to evade attacks and dish nice dmg. If you are a smart player you can kite anything. and avoid a lot of dmg.

in a group you are not going to wanna unleash hell right away, as you will want to pace yourself.
