Hello guys.

A friend of mine plays a warrior. I play ranger and Revenant, and love them both. But I want to focus on one character (playtime won’t allow me to become good on both), and I can’t figure out which one is best to compliment the warrior’s skills.

What do you guys prefer duoing with ? Rev or Ranger ? Other classes are out of the equation, since I don’t like them.

Probably rev since it mainly operates in melee range, has cc and aoe, and churns out the buffs. But a well played druid can compliment warrior as well, so I’d recommend you go with whichever you prefer to play.

Honestly, imo you’re much better focusing on which you prefer to play and/or are best at. The druid has tonnes of support (if you want it), it’s got great ranged pressure, mobility, and solid melee pressure (again, if you build for it).

It can compliment warrior very well, and so can rev.

warrior duo is powerful and a well played elementalist is also great.
Two warriors focusing on on target is usually quick down. Ele can stall when attacked and will keep warrior alivelonger to do damage.
For your question i would use druid over rev. Range to suplement warrior and the ability to emergency heal.

I would vote druid as well. Even if not built for it, druid has access to heals and can stealth the warrior out of trouble and when rezzing. Along with this, the multitude of stuns warriors have synergizes extremely well with the ancient seeds trait on druid which then allows for the warrior to not get kited as easily and sets up for the warrior burst.

Then use the Ranger because Rev doesn’t synergize with War: the main weakness of Rev is lacking stability and condition cleansing, and the strong point is their burst and area cleave & cc. The Warrior has plenty of them, but the typical roaming builds from Warriors has nothing to offer to the Rev. Rev works better in duos with a suport class (Eles, Guardians…). As other said Ranger will provide ranged damage and support.

I’d say druid for sure,amazing support/heals/cleansing,great mobility to keep up with you and stay near you,nice range pressure aswell,all depending on stats offc.
