Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone. After a long hiatus from this game, I had the urge to come back and play again. I’ve been playing non stop for a week now and right now, I want to continue my level 30 Charr Warrior.

From what I understand, Warrior changed a lot while I was gone. I’ve been reading guides and builds for leveling for it but I’m getting mixed answers. People say Axe/?? and Longsword are the best atm. Others say Hammers are great, but they’ll get nerfed at next patch.

I’m just looking for the best build that would let me solo most of the stuff, especially on my server where I see very few people doing the group events. I also want to learn how to play on endgame while getting there so I won’t be struggling.

Also, which traits should I be focusing on? This is the one that I’m having the most problem on.

I too skimmed over the first 10 pages here, as well as googled your question earlier this week. Everything I found as to leveling builds seemed to be outdated (pre signet build nerf leveling builds).

I think the reason no one is posting new warrior leveling builds and your post hasn’t been responded too, is the fact that is pretty easy to level a warrior. Hence trait choices for the class does not have a huge impact at low lower levels.

I will say that wow, warrior is a blast to play in this game. Warrior is always my first choice in pretty much any MMO for the past 15 years. The first few times I tried it here it felt just a tad boring. But now that I’ve really jumped on board, all other classes besides my thief just feel so slow to play. I’m loving the fast action of the warrior class, and was surprised with the support utilities the class has. On my mark, shake it off, banners, FGJ, etc, make it all the more enjoyable for me.

I thought I liked guardian better, but now my guardian feels like he’s stuck in molasses in both mobility, and skills! Not sure I can go back. Lol. They are both great classes, but I’m just digging the flow of the warrior class.

No clue how to spec at 40. I’ll just look over the trait lines and come up with something. Using Axe/Horn – Greatsword now, with my points in the lines that increase damage.

Thanks for the reply. I figured as much. Since I wasn’t sure exactly what to do with my warrior yet, I decided to continue my Thf (lvl 33 atm). I’ll see what happens when the new patch arrives and go from there.
