Lol, really? Why the hell does blind effect an AOE effect? Last I knew a bomb isn’t going to miss from a blind. Its aoe it should hit. I understand the direct damage it can have but why does the blast get taken away from blind? I am getting owned in PvP from people blind spamming me and since I favor AOE when I am with my party in WvW it all misses. Even my Earthshaker misses. Same with Longbow Arcing Shot misses when blinded. My guildies told me it also makes their shatters miss at times.

Its broken.. fix it anet. I highly doubt it was intended to effect AOE skills (Not the direct hit from the initial AOE impact if it is a character target AOE).

Because your LB AoE does direct DMG therefor blind effects

It’s not broken. Blinds are a great way atm to counter warriors, let them have it. Blind is blind. Cleansing ire is good for those situations, if you don’t Earthshake right into a smoke field, then you have to learn to not do that.

Cleansing Ire doesn’t remove blind if the attack misses because of blind. It just puts the Burst skill on CD. Except Longbow Burst skill. This is the exception because it drops a fire field similar to a necromancer well that pulses damage instead of instant direct damage.

Many melee weapons cleave and that is effectively an area of effect attack so if blind didn’t stop aoe damage then most auto attacks would still hit thieves.
