Bow nerfs
Arcing shot really needed a nerf but the pin down nerf was too much IMO Warriors burst with the bow is still great for applying pressure on a point and if your conditank (Which is quickly rising in popularity for warriors) the damage is hard to ignore.
Longbow needed a nerf. I literally cannot think of a single build where the longbow post patch is going to be “bad”. For as tanky as the Warrior is, having ANY ranged DPS is a benefit. Please explain to me a build that won’t be good enough with the inclusion of the longbow as a secondary weapon, then maybe you’d have a point.
The problem it will not be the bunker warrior damage. It will those zerker builds that relied on pin down and long bow 3 to deal damage. Those builds relied on damage and control provided by those skills. This change will promote more bunker / conditions builds.

Warriors should NOT be able to deal huge damage at range. They are too tanky to be able to get away with that, and even with less damage being dealt, the Longbow will still be a viable option for DPS uptime if their target managed to create distance between you.

Pin down did need a nerf ever since they added the bleed stacks. If they never added those, then it wouldn’t have needed a nerf.
I think it’s better they put a longer cast time on it than reduce it’s effectiveness, wouldn’t you? I mean, if it dropped to 2 bleed stacks and half immob duration, that would’ve been a much, much, bigger nerf than an additional half second to the cast time.
At least on the condi end, that is. The crit damage builds might not have cared that much.
Kind of bummed about the changes too but it’s all good, we have all those sick sigil changes incoming!
All that was buffed with warrior has been fundamentally nerfed to lower than what they were pre buff when the movement f certain skills and total redesign of others is taken into account. The 4 second immobilise became too much with immobilise stacking, to tone the longbow better all that was needed was to reduce the immobilise and bleed stacks, and make the stage 3 adrenaline fire field considerably smaller.
