[Build Advice] Sword/Shield & Hammer
UF feels pretty weak to me. With your current setup if you had fury and hitting a stunned target you would be wasting 16-26% crit chance depending on if you are using your f1 or not. Remember there is no such thing as 100% crier chance there is always 1% chance of you not critting. When UF was a t1 trait it was well worth it but now it’s hard to go into it with so much other options.
Anyways here’s my build on difference is I run WH, but it’s mainly to support the Zerg or my guild.

You can take 2 out of discipline and put it in arms for furious reaction or the swiftness one if you think it benefits you more. FGJ can be swapped out as situation dictates.
Thank you for the suggestion, much appreciated.
I knew UF was nerfed but still feel it’s pretty decent.
Will try your setup tonight, just one question though, how do you manage to stay alive with 20k health? Obvious answer would be skill ofc however, i might increase my health a bit more to suit my comfort / skill level so to speak.
cheers
Try playing with reflect on block over Dog, and mighty def over sprint.

Add some Valk gear to your liking or if you must Soldiers, but I try to shy away from that gear set. Being a warrior you pretty much have some of the best mobility skill and with the current set up on food/runes/trait, you get -93% on movement impairing conditions. Unless you get hit with some nasty durations of snare/immob/chill stacks (about 15sec worth) the condition should fall off under a second. With the set up getting caught with a stun (specially if you have a guardian in the party) is nearly impossible, so survival will just simply be how well you position yourself. In my old guild set-up Warriors aren’t always in the melee train, we have the freedom of moving out of the group to keep ourselves alive so long as our position allows us to make it back for a reset, we generally satellite within Earthshaker range. When it’s a map blob I generally just add more Cav trinkets as conditions is almost never an issues, plenty of warriors and guardians running shout builds, and you already have a passive 60% duration protection + being able to potentially remove 3 conditions every 8 mins.
Every now and then I do get hit offguard with a long immob or stunned and think I can sit it out since the enemy wasn’t focusing my area and then get slammed, but those are just small percentages. My buddy use to do full serk with that build and he still did fine.
Don’t use UF with that build use sigil of intelligence instead trust me when I say that it will be 100X better. How many hits can you get while something is stunned with a hammer? Or a shield? Think about the answer to the question 1st before thinking about how many crits sigil of intelligence gives on swap.
Not only that sigil of intelligence would grantee 3 things. when you swap to hammer.
The burst skill crits, back breaker crits, stagering blow crits. Thats all you need….
As far as final thrust that means you dont have to shield bash 1st you can just go final thrust and it will crit… Seems pretty simple.
