Build Critique: PvE Burnserker
Personally think Berserker Stance would serve you better than Signet of Fury. If you’re at 0 adrenaline, you can hit Berserker Stance and time it right so you get another bar of adrenaline after you use your burst skill.
Aslo recommend taking 10 out of Arms, your only trait would be V or VI, I prefer VI for the fury/vigor. Put those points into Discipline to get faster recharge on your burst skills and they’ll cost less, so with what I suggested with Berserker Stance, you’d have 2 bars of adrenaline after using a Burst Skill (assuming you’re at 0). If you were at 1 bar of adrenaline, you could use Berserker’s Stance, fire off adrenaline skill, switch weapons and fire off another fully charged adrenaline skill
Thanks much for the suggestions, Grok! I’ll take a look at tweaking the build once I get home from the office.
Build reworked to keep up the crit rate. Opted to raise crit damage as well with the highly expensive runes of the eagle. Ended with 77% crit and 79% crit damage. Also tweaked the traits according to Grok’s suggestions, and swapped out Signet of Fury for Berserker’s Stance. It’s a wee bit more glassy than before, but this isn’t exactly ever going to be a tanker build in any case.

Looks good, the only thing I’d say is if you haven’t gotten the Eagle Runes yet, get Ruby Orbs instead. They’d give you 120 power, 84 precision (about half of the Eagle runes), and 12% critical hit damage.
Possibly replace Endure Pain with Banner of Discipline or For Great Justice, Signet of Stamina gives alot of Survivability with the endurance regen and condition cleanse, but I don’t know your play style so if it’s working for you keep it
the tweaked build is a lot better than the original, seems quite optimised, if you do follow Groks suggestion and replace endure pain with ‘for great justice’ (i agree replacing with fgj or banner would be good idea) then i would also swap the offhand axe for sword or mace since the offhand axe is mainly for that extra fury imo, if you get FGJ you wont need that.
I believe the off-hand axe is more for using axe 5 inside the Combustive Shot AoE to spread the fire more. Though with the amount burning it does you might not need that
My warrior is actually still leveling, and is currently at 52, so I have a way to go yet on his gear. Given how quickly it gains Adrenaline, I’m thinking hard about swapping out Dual Wielding in the Master slot of Strength for Berserker’s Power or Restorative Strength.
As for the off-hand weapon, I’d consider Mace for the added cc, which could help this guy on a huge pile of mobs, or War Horn for additional Vigor and slapping on Weakness. I don’t see a lot of awesome in the offhand sword other than slightly lower offhand skill recharge rate, a second ranged attack in my melee weapon skills, and a bit of free Adrenaline.
As for my play style, I usually like to open with the bow to wear things down and pull apart mobs too large to tackle alone, then hit the Longbow Burst skill and bounce to axes for a rapid, explodey takedown.
I like the idea of throwing in FGJ. I originally had it in the build, but removed it because I figured a little Survivability would be better overall. Banner of tactics would be a nice alternative when running the world map, as well as in events where it can crank up a larger number of people.
Hit 55 and unlocked Fast Hands. That skill is massively useful, especially with the axe/war horn pairing. I’m currently still running with Signets to keep my crit rate high, though I put away one signet for FGJ. The more I swap weapons out, the more I force up my adrenaline gauge, and the more I can spam bursts while varying from melee to kiting with lots of vigor. S’fun,
Level 62, and after getting access to Gramdmaster traits, I went 10/10/0/0/30 to start, which gave be full access to the good stuff. It’s almost a challenge to have so many Bursts because I want to use them constantly, and it’s led to a few deaths. Still, running a CM taught me that the build is somewhat fragile, and I was relying more heavily on dodging by the end.
While I like the axe damage, I’m almost considering using the one-handed sword now and again. With this build it would certainly be doable with minimal trait swapping, but it would largely be to keep me from being bored, since Frenzy is a fun skill.
Build tweaked after massive updates. Still a lot of fun when I want to scramble all over the map and kill large numbers of enemies.
I believe the off-hand axe is more for using axe 5 inside the Combustive Shot AoE to spread the fire more. Though with the amount burning it does you might not need that
Axe 5 procs 1 whirl finisher, not 15. It’s pretty lame.
That’s why I swapped to Horn. This was originally a leveling/farming build, so having added mobility and vigor came in extremely handy, especially with Signet of Stamina and Building Momentum while spamming Bursts every five seconds.
As far as things go, I still use this as my farming build. The problem I found was at it wasn’t able to cut the mustard on a lot of dungeons due to the lack of condition removal. All it has is Signet of Stamina, which at best on this build, by swapping to Discipline VI, recharges every 36 seconds.
Could possibly swap in Shake It Off! In place of Endure Pain, I guess.
