I’m currently doing world exploration completion and I’ve recently been toying with the Hambow PvP build just to get a feel for it. I altered it to include Thrill of the Kill and the end result was me being able to open every pull with a 30 adrenaline Combustive Shot and perhaps throw in an Earthshaker for more might.

This is quite fun to play with due to the fact that PvE enemies are easy and die very quickly, thus granting the 10 bonus adrenaline, combined with the Burst Mastery trait this will give you 20 Adrenaline automatically each kill, the last 10 to fill your bar seem to come naturally leaving you at 30.

To the point of my post: I am just pondering about the possibilities of Burst skills with the conjunction of these two traits. For example, I’m wondering if there’s a better PvE weapon switch to use with the Longbow burst than the Hammer? What about instead of opening with Combustive Shot, perhaps using a Rifle for Kill Shot + another weapon set?

So many possibilities. I’m keen to hear any suggestions for this kind of chain-kill farming gameplay.

I’ve ran different variations of a Burst Mastery build, usually involving a high crit. chance and either Furious or Sharpened Axes.

Currently I’ve been running a berserker-y build with Axe/Rifle. I can’t remember currently if I’m running 10/30/0/0/30 or 20/20/0/0/30 or 20/30/0/0/20, but it’s usually been one of those variants, taking traits like Furious and Sharpened Axes when available. It’s really fun to be able to fire off a full adrenaline Eviscerate just after a couple of swings with the axe. Sometimes having both traits is a little overkill on adrenaline gain, but it’s still enjoyable.
