Burst not high enough?
Are you saying that your party members hit 40k+ 100B’s on a relatively consistent basis?
Please teach me your ways.
34k is the damage as a zerker war in cof1 since patch.
“berserker stance clears all CC on you and you’re still immune to CC for 8 seconds”

All the ones I’ve asked say they average around 40k. I’ve asked like 3-4 party’s worth of zerk warriors. How high do you guys hit on him? They tell me that on the legendary effigy they can average 30-35k too. My highest is 28 -__- do I just ask the wrong people or am I just weak?
They may be pulling you’re leg a little man your hitting like a truck as is. Maybe they have traits for under % health or something I dunno but 34k is kinda kittened high.
Potion of Flame Legion Slaying? 10% more damage.
Ask a man about his length and devide it by 2!
I think it is no difference in Gw2
My engineer is happy to do 2k DMG with Zerker Set and his strongest attack. There are times where I even dont hit more then 1000 dmg. So your DMG is kitten high, very fast and almost all time accessable. Relax
I guess. But even watching YouTube videos, I notice that everyone hits 40k ish.
Potion of Flame Legion Slaying? 10% more damage.
And sigil of smoldering for another 5% (assuming you are using force) or sigil of night.
IF you want increase the burstdmg for warriors, then must they also increase the burst dmg from the thief, because the thief is the best burst class

It’s good to be bad!
If it helps, I use a sigil of accuracy because I feel that with that 5%, I crit more and when I crit, I reach into my +90% critical damage pool. Would sigil of force actually be better?
As said above, Sigil of Night/Smoldering (Flame Legion). 5% more Critical Chance is maybe around 3% more damage (crude estimate, maybe even less).

Would need your exact crit chance/dmg to say precisely what the difference is, but smother/night will basically always be better than accuracy for realistic stat sets. How do you only have 90% crit dmg in zerker w/green banner?

Well I have a 74% crit chance without any boons. Fury brings me to 94. The banner puts me around 98-100. 90% crit damage is without the banner. I think the banner puts me at 105…

The banner adds just over 8% crit chance so if you math’ed everything else out properly, ur over 100% :P

Maybe I do have over 100% crit. Perhaps my crit damage is a little lower than it should be? Is that why I’m not really “maximizing” my dps? Thanks for the responses so far! Does anyone have a status update on the bugged traits Berserkers Power and Heightened Focus?
12% and 9%, like pre-patch.
12% and 9%, like pre-patch.
20 points more into each tree, no extra benefit…
Would that 3-5% damage be able to boost me that much? I feel like I’m lacking some really important aspect that’s holding my damage back a lot. I’m looking at screenshots of 40k+ damage on lots of bosses and mobs, how do they hit like that? Ive even seen a 52k, which just makes me feel weak and useless For example, how do you hit 40k+ on lupicus wethospu?

25 might, 25 vuln, banners, empower allies
Well if they are using night sigil + potion for the mobs in there… thats 20% more damage output…. 34k * 0.20 (20%) is 6800 which would put you at 40,800.

That was with Desperate Power-trait and with all kind of stacks.
It seems I just have some sort of passive -15% damage condition on me -_- I just ran a ton of cofs again and most people averaged around 36-38k with the same equips as me. They had less crit damage too…

crit rate? noncrits will drop your damage, also boons and traits
you’re using Sigil of Accuracy when you have a mathematical crit chance that is at or over 100%. you’re missing out on the flat 10% damage boost that Smoldering Sigil gives. there it is. they could also be running Signet of Might for more power.

That’s kinda true. But I want my set-up to be more all purpose, not just cof and I feel like I won’t always run a banner of discipline. So instead of smoldering, should I maybe try force or night?

Ya night’s your first choice b4 smoldering if you want your weapon to be remotely useful outside of CoF. It might cost more, but it doesn’t cost another WEAPON more.
