it still will be one of the best builds because every other build does not simply have that much survibility…
and some others are still free kill tier..
well if anyone have any good build, i would love to try it out.

There are plenty of builds besides hammer that have as much if not more survivability. Hammer is just a great CC weapon that puts a lot of pressure on opposing players with their damage as well.
I can see people perhaps trying 0/0/30/10/30 with the hammer, slotting leg specialist or empowered in tactics. UF is a great trait don’t get me wrong but people will manage without it and still be satisfied with their hammer builds, despite the damage nerf.
it is a shame though honestly. moving unsuspecting foe to master tier is a heavy blow to the damage of the 0/10/30/0/30 build.
nerfing the damage without compensation to the burst on it is a second heavy blow to the build and the hammer in general. doing the same to the number 4 skill is still a third blow to it but not as heavy as to the burst skill. nerfing without compensation the grandmaster trait burst mastery is a nasty blow to almost every weapon the warrior uses and to all builds.
so in general the 0/10/30/0/30 build is getting 4 individual and distinct nerfs, and it still isn’t enough to get people on the forums to stop whining about it.
Defiant-unstoppable alone will make the suggested changes to hammer completely useless in all dungeons/champions. It already is pretty useless compared to GS purely because of the first mentioned boss skills.
^ To start, Hammer wasn’t popular at all in dungeons, so I don’t think that the changes would affect too much the PvE content (anyway, Axe 1, 2 and 5 is more than enough for any close combat in dungeons).
For WvW I don’t think that the nerf will change a bit the current share of the Hammer Warrior; maybe it would grow a bit now that Sigil of Torment can be added as extra source of damage. At most, people will move from 0/10/30/0/30 to 0/0/30/10/30 (less damage but even more control).
Looking to the timeline from patch balances for Warriors in the past seems that Arenanet will be forced to move every Adept trait to Master or Grandmaster and leaving empty slots in Adept: they are all overpowered :p
Only FOTM bads are afraid of this nerf. I’ll go ahead and take my 100 extra precision, coupled with Furious reaction, and have more vigor and Fury uptime. As well as 100 free power from the 25 pt defense line given I’m mostly Cavalier built.
QQ on baddies, I personally am looking forward to less fotm Warriors. I will continue to make videos, and continue to make kids cry.

or anyone who spvp/tpvp who doesn’t get the benefit of accessories, consumables, three stat weapons or ascended gear. Sure it will still work in wvw..but in everything else it will be buggered to the point that there is no reason to use it.
