Can Rifle Warriors Ever Get Some Love?
I agree! I don’t think they should buff the rifle at all. Like no extra damage, speed, conditions, nothing like that. All they should do is increase the range or perhaps add a trait or two to increase the range. That way we could have a bit of a “sniper” class. I’ve wanted something like that since launch.
i would LOVE for rifle to be more viable but honestly they should reduce ranger’s range not give more classes the same ridicolous and anti-fun capacity to engage from totally absurd angles.
Kill Shot should have it’s cast time decreased to that of rifle #5 knockdown duration.
Rifle #4 should apply revealed on foe.
Rifle #3 should give adrenaline per hit.
Rifle #1 should no longer give adrenaline, but do more dmg the further the opponent is.

Rifle 5 has a knockback, not a knockdown.
Applying Revealed on a 15s cooldown? Yeah, nope.
You mean more than what it already does? You already get 5 strikes from the hits themselves, making it double that would be a single full bar of Adrenaline, which is kind of a lot.
alright so suggestions:
number 1, 2, 3 are functional, maybe give slightly higher damage to 1, like 5-10%
number 4 needs a lower casting time, vuln+100% finisher would be good if it had half the casting it has now or even shorter
number 5 could work more like ranger’s GS, it could block a hit and if succesful execute the knockback (or knock anyway on second press)
burst could use a reduced casting time BUT NOT MUCH, the skill hits like a truck when it happens to connect, it can’t be a free hit
i say that would make the rifle a plenty viable option, biggest rifle issue to me is how vulnerable it is when you’re pressed into melee but if it had a block that would be a non issue when paired with fast hands.
