Guild Wars 2

Greatsword is a weapon I love to use on Warrior for the mobility it provides, but skill 2 can totally cancel out that mobility. Since it locks the player into place, it really feels clunky. I know that you can dodge out of it, but that takes a second or so.

Is there a way to cancel out of it faster/more efficiently?

go to controls. go to very bottom. bind a ‘stow weapon’ key. press this key at any point when gs2 is channeling. alternatively swap weapons.

Jump works for me

Why have i never thoguht of jump? it’s like so obvious and does not require learning a new button for noobs…also, it looks fancy

I already had a key bound for stowing the weapon, but didn’t know it cancelled it. Helped a lot, thanks.

As far as space goes, it isn’t working for me.

Ummm jump has never worked on my asuran while im using a channel skill (pretty 100% sure it never worked on my human war either)…idk what ur talking about.

Weird. Just checked. works for me. maybe its a setting in controls somewhere.

[edit: actually no jump does not work. i thought it did because i always hit jump and a direction when playing. actually just changing direction works for me. but i use Combat Camera sooo.]

Move certainly cancels it. One way to mess up your hundred blades for sure XD
