This build is what I use on my Pink Warrior in WvW.

Utility skills

  • Healing surge – I chose this over the mending because I need that adrenaline more and the healing is huge if you have full bar. Also only one level of adrenaline makes it a better heal than mending.
  • Bull’s Charge – I can’t live without it. Nice gap closer with a stun. Whats there not to like about this skill.
  • Signet of Stamina – Extra 50% endurance regeneration is pretty amazing considering how good the evade is. Also has ability to cleanse all the conditions out of you.
  • Balanced Stance – Little bit over 8 seconds of stability with stun breaker. It’s amazing how much survivability it adds in WvW.
  • Signet of Rage – This build is mostly for damage and this is pretty much the only way to get swiftness in combat. Can be swapped for Banner on those rare occasions when Lord is down/going down.

How and what?
To utilize this build to be most effective you might not want to be the very first to enter the enemy group. I rather enter it after an initial tank gets inside or someone who can absorb damage well. In combat situations I start off with Greatsword to ditch some serious AoE damage.

Usually I first go half way with 100b and cancel it with whirlwind attack or skip whole 100b and do Whirlwind through their blob and throw Bladetrail into them to immobilize and cripple. After that I swap into hammer and I should have at least two bars of adrenaline and I hit my burst into the group and do Fierce Blow right after, thats crazy amount of damage as its pretty much quaranteed critical hit on stunned foe. After Fierce blow I have a quite big chance that my Sigil of Rage had activated and I have frenzy so that is 3 seconds of hammer criticals. Then I just keep CC’ing and ditching damage where ever I see it needed.

I can also quickly swap into GS to chase fleeing foes or disengage from combat if my HP starts to drop dramatically. Also my adrenaline fills quite fast so on most occasions I can throw Earthshaker any time it comes out of cooldown.

But why?
Because its fun to play. It keeps me on my toes in combat. I need to keep my eye on everything that goes on around me and I can’t just stand around there or I will die. Also it does quite impressive damage and you can even break a zerg apart if you jump in the middle of the group with Earthshaker. The combat stays very fluid with this build and its like you were dancing in the combat when you fly around with the GS and making enemies trapped in place with Hammer.

Is it easy build to play?
Let’s say medium to hard. You won’t have survivability of a tanky support warrior, but when played right you can stay in combat for long time. The build kind of combines the damage of glass cannon warrior while having ability to sustain damage. Of course it doesn’t have as high damage as Glass cannon, but the damage is still very impressive. Its easy to mess the flow of battle by throwing the stability on wrong time or if you get immobilized all the time (although this build has a lot of ways to break it as any mobility skill breaks it, this build has 4 skills that can do that).
