Saw some guy running celestial with axe/sword longbow and it seems pretty OP.

Been running it on my warr in hot joins and I rarely die.

Is this like the new fotm OP build?

Its in a decent spot between tanky & glass cannon.

I wouldn’t call it op though as your not really doing anything at a great level compared to other specs, your just kind of finding a sweet spot between them.

Besides the spec relies on stacking might & fury which means against someone who can remove boons (or convert them into conditions, or steal them) your not going to be doing hardly any damage.

tbh celestial gear is kinda OP on every class that uses all the stats like some warrior builds, engis and eles. Eles would be more or less out of the meta beside fresh air without that type of gear.

It is incredibly potent in dueling. A good D/D ele will beat you though.

Edit: come to think of it, does D/D ele lose against anything in a 1v1?

D/D eles have an incredibly hard time against Axe/bow or eviscerate for that matter, wot?

I haven’t lost to a dd ele. In fact I fought two of them and killed them both in 2v1. That 3% damage per boon trait just destroys eles. Level
1 evils hits for 6k… The more boons they pop off the more damage I do to them.

Build seems really strong. What’s the meta for tpvp tho? I’ve just been doing hotjoins since I started playing again.

I use a personal celestial build, whit Sword/Axe and Healing Banners. I’ve never lose against a ele. And in 1vs1 I’m very powerfull, healing me by a large amount, I don’t die quickly and deal a lot of condition damage by fire and bleed, and direct damage by Final Truth and Whirling Axe (that grant me whirl finisher, firing 15 fire bolts all over the area)

It’s not the best build for a warrior, hambow can be better. But It’s a good build, because the warrior use all the stats.

It’s a build more for Hot Join than for TsPvP
