Condi's A Breath Of Fresh Air
All I’ve done since launch is play power revenant after dropping the warrior at the start of expo. Back to warrior, picked up full exotic viper gear with the required smaller items and wow oh wow. It may be a little squishy at times but this playstyle is right up my alley! I’m talking about the berserker condi build ofcourse.
Kinda thought when I played my revenant that nothing could be anymore fun or stronger. I’ve only my required help for a very few champions so far on this warrior. solod majority like arrowhead for example. Can imagine how this reacts with ascended gear as can currently get 11-12k burning ticks.
Also in spvp it works great, just have to be careful and pick fights, spec accordingly at start of the game also. I went 9 wins to 1 loss today. Wvw is well. It’s wvw. Solo veterans with ease, even took our a veteran, thief and mesmer at the same time.
Obviously this isn’t op/meta but it atleast makes warrior enjoyable again for myself.
Word for word I feel the same way. I hated berserker and dropped war for rev, and in also fell in love with dh. Now I loooooooove condi war
I had full zerker ascended on my warrior and was struggling to kill veterans in AB (because toughness is rough), but switching to condi has let me kill stuff 5 to 10 times faster with only minimal increases to squishyness. Seriously, Berserker Warrior with Vipers is awesome, and I have yet to even craft my amulet/accessories with Viper stats!
Rotation is a little more difficult, I have only made it to 20 burning stacks and 30 bleed by myself, my brother can do 30 burning and 40 bleed alone

What condi builds are you using may i ask? I havent really touched War except for getting his elite spec hero points done in the first week.

It also works pretty well on SW farming since condi works so well there. You can melt slingers and keep a lane painted pretty easily with longbow.

Well…at least we don’t need Leadership runes like Mesmers. Those cost 100 Crystalline Ore each and require the Dragon’s Stand meta to succeed for the vendor.
Although warrior needs buffs, maybe rework the class, I’m glad that people are trying to adapt.
