Hello again. Back with another warrior video, this time with some clips from today solo roaming in wvw. Any feedback on the video is welcome. And before you mention it I know the opponents are not great players, and I will try and get better opponents for future clips.

I’ve been running a condi berserker build and melting faces since HoT was launched, in WvW roaming. I’m posting to share my build with interested parties.

What’s interesting to me about berserker condition builds is the number that are able to be viable and tweaks that can be made to cater to how you like to play. My build is clearly very all in and doesn’t contain a lot of defenses. But yours has additional mechanisms for defense while still being effective (I assume).
I’m curious about the trait choice in the first zerker trait slot. You went with the rage skills cause burning, but based on your grandmaster choice of the might/stab, I would have expected the reduced recharge on zerk/burst skills as being a superior option and I’m just curious if you’d tried it.
have you tried the superior sigil of draining on mace, it’s actually really strong with this build. You deal 1000 dmg on interrupt plus gain 1000 life.

Can’t say I have. I basically copied my spvp build over. That sigil should work better than either the geomancy or the paralyzation

A very valid question you have there and yes, I’ve tried every combination possible with traits, gear and utility selection with condi berserker.
My choice of Eternal Champion is for stability so I can land my primal bursts and stomp successfully. Whilst the choice of Smash Brawler may seem like the right and obvious choice here, I found that being double melee my bursts were often dodged, blinded, blocked or resisted and this negated it’s usefulness in part. The reason last blaze is SO good, is that we have a passive burn damage on utility and skill use. For instance a simple combo of Headbutt – Outrage -then Berserk mode burns for over 4k even before you land a primal burst – either skullgrinder or flaming flurry. The burn application on Outrage alone can be a deterrent being it’s a 1.5 K + burn every 10 seconds.
Going Strength over Defence outputs INSANE condition damage. With body blow in strength you can apply 12 stacks of bleed with the above combo on top of confusion with distracting strikes. The application of weakness is very strong too for obvious reasons.
Anyway give it a try. It’s really optimized for a pure dire/trailblazer setup in WvW ( you’ll have 27K of health and 3.4 k toughness with the build I linked above) and I use rabid in PvP.
Also as Killahmayne said grab the draining sigil in WvW it’s awesome. I use that on my shield.

Thanks for the reply. I agree the burning on rage skill is excellent, I actually have a clip for a new video where I kill an annoying thief simply by using the stunbreak a few times when he jumps me.
I might try out your build, though my playtime is currently very limited due to rl stuff so I typically just stick with what I already have on. I will definitely be getting that draining sigil though, synergy is too good.
