Confusion stunner build
This looks extremely fun and extremely troll lol. Have you tested this or is it just an “on-paper” test? I’m intrigued by how fun this would be to constantly have them pinned down and they’re slapping themselves due to confusion. I could see stability being this build’s downfall, you’d essentially be useless for the duration of stability though you’d still be stacking bleeds.

I did some preliminary tests, very fun sofar. I’m on a laggy connection so I can’t fully experience it yet :S
SPvP or WvW? Also I’d assume it’s a roaming/small group build?

Haha nice, let us know how it goes! I’m sure I’m not the only one interested, the concept is right up my alley, it’s like a stunlock warrior with harsh side effects when they AREN’T stunned very intriguing concept!

I run these runes, but a different build…I enjoy never losing to thieves now. Eles, Thieves and any other “spammy” class just cause themselves to explode when you get the stacks on them.
I think stability isnt much of a problem. You still got 4 sec Immobilize on Swords F1 and enough blocks plus movementskills (Sword #2 and bulls Charge) to “kite” other peoples Stability.
It may even let them feel superior because you run/kite alot in the first place while stability is up. But at the time it goes away, you use all your interrupt skills (quite a lot) and you can do massive DMG.
Another hint: You could try to use Rampage as elite because it offers nice swiftness, Stability AND another movement skill. For me it functions like a lifesaver.
Lets think that threw: opponent uses Stability and deals alot of DMG. You can block (shield, mace, sword) if stab is still up and you cant endure or outwait more attacks, use Sword #2 to gain distance, cast Rampage (swiftness and Stability → harder to catch) use Rampages #3, use bulls charge. Thats enough distance and since stability is down on your opponent, you can rush back in with sword leap and play out all your interrups to put massive confusion stacks on your enemy! His “pace of attack” is quite probably quite offensive in this phase of battle and he will hurt himself A LOT!

Wow, thats such a nasty and harsh confusion CC build XD. its just beautiful with those new runes. Idk how you plan to use it effectively, but with a few tests, it’ll be crazy. If I were you, here’s what I might do: hit my opponent a few times, and get at least 8 confusion stacks on them, and dont use skull crack right away, use pommel bash/ shield bash, and maybe kick for 12 confusion. Then swap to sword, slash them a couple times and lay down your f1 on them and while they’re immobilized and bleeding, throw torment on them with #4 and just kick back and watch them do the rest XD ( I would go mace/shield sword/sword)
Nice build, however when I was trying it out I noticed that my confusion procs weren’t as long as my confusion duration was supposed to make it. Is the 30% confusion duration working for you guys?
I’m testing my own variation using these runes on my own warrior and I have to say they will definitely get nerfed in some way, but that’s for another thread and another time. I’m personally running with 20 20 30 0 0 and I use sword/shield healing signet, kick, endure pain, signet of stamina, and signet of rage. I use missile deflection and spiked armor and focus on turning my opponents strength against themselves during the fight.
I don’t use as many interrupting skills because the cool down on shield bash and kick allow me to use them in 20ish second intervals. This is both because bulls rush is bait and I feel extremely vulnerable when both bulls rush and stomp are on CD. I lose out on aoe confusion so I’m learning to time the LB 5 and the sword burst aoe confusion with kick on a few opponents
