Morning at all :-) ,
I’ve a question and maybe someone can reply to me.
My warrior si near to 80 (about 76) and for leveling i’m using “no brain” 5 signets strategy with greatsword XD.
Now i’m valuating two builds: one based on swords and condition damage and one based on crit and axes. Like swap weapon i’m using longbow and i love it XD

I’m playing mainly WvW and i need an advice on wich one is more suitable for WvW

THX :-)

Having been a pve geared out in full exotics condition damage warrior I wouldnt recommend doing the same, simply because gearing takes effort and your basically locked into sword+sword, wile a power build could use both 2handers, axe, mace etc. Staying on one wep gets boring after awile.

That is unless you can get a power+vit+condition damage armor or similiar, but id avoid locking yourself into having condition build without power as warrior simply because you cant use any other weapon effectively.

Mainhand axe, mainhand and offhand swords, rifle, longbow - the very domain of condition damage builds. Quite a lot of diversity here.

Tip: get Sigil of Earth asap.
Tip2: high crit complements your condition damage nicely.
Tip3: you need to survive, and with default health score it’s best to go for toughness and condition removals.
Tip4: don’t listen to naysayers - try it out and see if it floats your boat first.

I can’t post my specific build here but I have an axe in my mainhand and a sword in my offhand and it works very well for stacking vulnerability with bleeds. I built my warrior to gain lots of crit and bleeding duration. My weapon swap gives me 5 strikes of adrenaline which helps a good amount. My second set of weapons are a sword and horn for the speed buff mainly, also having that sword in main hand gives you a cripple and a leap for fast getaways or closing distances between you and enemies. Very versatile. I love this game.

When I was specced for damage I used a sword MH and axe offhand with a crit and condition damage build. Your basic attack bleeds on 2/3 hits and your burst skill bleeds as well. Also your 5 skill and burst skill both do a lot of hits which do a lot of damage AND proc many bleeds and vulnerability from traits.

Also with the leap, cripple, and immobilize skills you have you can stick to enemies pretty well.
