Points i should mention
-strength runes would probably be better but im cheap and i already have scholar.
-SoF can be swaped out for bulls charge, fear me, or zerk stance depending on the situation
-Cleansing Ire, I’ve play with this build a little and haven’t really needed it yet. I suppose i could go 3 str 4 def if i start having trouble
-I’m not really sure if distracting strikes is worth giving up dual wielding for, i don’t have alot of condi, i figured it would be more effective as a psychological factor than anything.
-Strength sigil on sword, I couldn’t think of anything and i figured extra might wouldn’t hurt. So i’m open to alternative suggestions.
-This is a roaming/ pug zerg build

you will get destroyed by soft cc and condis witha build like that.

your traits are also rly bad, distracting strike with only 1 interrupt? so bad.

you want to be either 6/0/2/0/6 or 2/0/6/0/6 if you want to be in full zerk, but swap lb to gs

as for utilities, you want stances. the end.

the alternative for small group roaming, instead of solo roaming is to go a balanced shout heal build with soldier runes.

What the poster above said is true, your traits barely make sense and you are too squishy with your traits,

A build I use for both roaming and zerging is usually a 6/0/4/0/4 build.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNAR3ejMdU2ZXIOewJagggC5snCmXgAIBUuG1OA-TVSBABXcEAoZ/BKV/xMlgXp8LiHAAe6G04CAAwBBgUARsMC-w

This is with ruins of the strength, its ideal for 1v1’s and such but can work nicely in zergs if you get used to it, of course if you run with melandru and the lemongrass to stop soft cc such as imob, chill and crip.

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNAR3ejMdU2ZXIOewJagggC5snCmXgAIBUuG1OA-TVSBABXcEACa/BKV/xMlgXp8LiHAAe6G04CAAwBBgUAMpMC-w

If you want a more damaging build suitable for zerging switch out bulls rush and put in balanced stance, also the traits are a bit different

http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNAR3ejMdUGaXIOewJagfgC1tbOAKgGQ9bk7dBA-TlSBABXcEACa/BuUyQp6PR8AAwS50iKBxT3gGXAAAOIAkCgJlRA-w

Or you can run with the classic Worker Warrior which is ideal for just zergs,

Not the most damaging thing but putting imob on enemies and CC’ing them the hammer and sword f1 is always fun.

But in reality the build really is up to you, the stats I put are the ones I play with sometimes (I mostly roam on my warrior nowadays anyways) a build in a way is dependent on the player in terms of armor, if you want them more tanky or less just play around with the armor! Sigils on weapons are also your choice, the ones I put are the ones I prefer, I like intel+ force for a nice axe f1 along with shield bash for a stun. Traits generally stay the same, but if your going to stay in greatsword more switch out axe mastery.

As for Runes…. I really like Strength even though if the enemy gets a chill/cripple on you and starts kiting you will be in a lot of trouble, Melandru is usually the way to go here but again its preference, as for Scholar, I do run it, but thats due to instances where the enemies are just so bad that you can utilize scholars full potential, other then that its safer to use other runes.

Hope this helps

Note: On the earlier builds I use II instead of great fortitude III that is a mistake

I understand that you are tempted by Ferocity and try to maintain your Fury uptime but I cannot figure out what you want your warrior to be. It is set for WvW. It is too general me TBH. Warriors are versitile into taking any role in WvW.

No fast hands is a no go in roaming.

You could potentially work around CI, but you will be weaker then with it. Vaanss does a nice job at it though. Check out his build.

I only state my opinion unless stated otherwise.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback. I know what the “meta” builds are, but thank you for the links anyway. I was really looking more for “X part of your build sucks here’s why” not " it’s not meta so it sucks play meta".

Regarding soft CC, conditions i forgot to mention that the mango pies would be swapped for LGP soup in serious fights mango pies are just what I run in low intensity stuff like ETOM for monetary reasons. Like I said in my initial post I considered swamping STR 4 (distracting strikes cause i couldn’t think of anything better to put in that slot) to DEF 4 for cleansing ire, I haven’t really needed it but I haven’t been in many condi heavy fights with this build yet.

The discipline trait line, I know it’s blasphemous but I just don’t find fast hands to be the god mode trait people say it is, it’s a useful trait to be sure, but it’s loss can be somewhat compensated for by more careful management of weapon swap. Signet mastery, I miss signet mastery but going into discipline for it means i might as well go 6 in it.

I guess my goal was to make a build that A: I like playing, I don’t like Hambow it also lacks mobility, at least in WvW (I don’t spvp so it’s mobility might be adequate there). GS seems lacking as a weapon to actually fight other people with( although for the times when you need to run like a kitten it’s awesome :P ). That leaves Axe or sword, Axe also has a lack of mobility so sword it is. Then I wanted a range weapon so that i’m not limited to melee so bow is really the only option and it provides some nice AOE and CC. For offhand it can be swapped depending on the situation, but i like offhand mace plus i’m almost finished making Moot.

B: Uses the armor/Runes I already have I already have my ascended armor I don’t really want to make another set. This is also the set I do dungeons in so Melandru Runes are out and i don’t think STR Runes offer enough of an edge over Scholars to justify the cost.

C: Takes advantage of my high precision/ferocity from my armor/runes. I like the leg specialist/ opportunist combo with sword it gives me fury and immobilize on my auto attack chain and 2 skill and since im taking 4 in arms for that going 5 for the 10% dmg boost makes sense.

Hope that explains the logic of my trait choices.
