Current greatsword berserker pve build
I’m not sure if it’s consider the “best” PvE GS Berserker build, but the (30/25/0/0/15) is one of the more popular builds going around. A basic full Berserker + Scholar rune setup with “For Great Justice” + “Banner of Discipline/Strength” for team support. For traits you definitely want “Slashing Power” + “Forceful Greatsword” while using the GS and combined with “Berserker’s Power” it has great Hundred Blades burst. If you don’t want to use an alternate dual wield set you can swap out “Dual Wielding” -> “Great Fortitude” for a little extra survivability.

I feel this is pretty good for PvE stuff in general, but maybe while leveling put 15 into defense trait for adrenal health if you need more healing. That skill is underrated IMO.
That said, why the 5 extra points into Discipline instead of into Defense? Is 5 seconds really that big of a deal? You could put those 5 points into another trait line and get something I think is far more useful. 100 toughness above 90% hp isn’t too bad, nor is extra toughness while reviving.
5 seconds is a very big deal because you need to constantly rotate between axe AA (and 2/mace 4/5) and GS burst (hb/wwa/rush) to maximise your damage.
greatsword auto does really bad damage and thus you want to be swapping back to axe in between uses of hb/wwa, then swap back as soon as swap cd is up without interrupting your axe auto to continue the rotation.
it may not seem like much on the surface, but if you do the rotation badly (especially with regards to interrupting axe autos) your DPS will go to kitten.
