Add Evasion to Dual Strike/Cyclone Axe.

Cyclone Axe: 1 s Evasion (It looks like your spinning out of attacks.)

Optional
Dual Strike: 1 s Block (It looks like your holding your axes up and then slashing down.)

Since Axe has no mobility, the skills should grant Evasion.

Mesmer sword has a gap closer.

not a good idea. a very bad idea. axe has cripple and a leap on f1. I use it just fine.

300 range a leap is not.

Hm..i have to agree with Daecollo that cyclone should give evade and overall make it damage a lil highter with blind. But cd has to be a bit highter in that case. I think 10cd is a decent spot and 8 when trained.

No I want better aggressive factors, defensive mechanics are just too easy mode.

I’d rather have Cyclone Axe EAT an enemy’s evade frame OR give it a 50% damage increase on each hit (PvP only) to make up for the Axe auto-attack nerf while increasing its cool down to 12 seconds.

I can’t say I agree with evasion on Cyclone axe. However, I do believe it should be on par with the thieves stolen version which reflects projectiles. Why take offhand axe when you can take an offhand shield for more utility?

I don’t even know why we use it now.

Axe ‘5’ just gets us killed with retaliation.

Axe ‘4’ gives us a buff we have already.

Thieves just deals double or triple damage, and reflect projectiles.

Agree. This skill could be evasive.

I agree to make either skill evade or reflect projectiles (preferred reflect.) I also like the idea of dual strike being a very short block.

Edit:

What if for the block while using dual strike idea it does its regular damage if you use it and don’t block any attacks, but if you use it and it blocks an attack it gives _ stacks of might? Like maybe 3 stacks of might or something if it blocks any attacks during its casting.
