High Warlord Sikari (80 Reaper) / Lord Siekron (80 DH)
Warlord Sikari (80 Scrapper)
Warlord Sikari (80 Scrapper)
So I wanted to bring up a topic, and would like some feedback. I’ve talked this over with some friends and they think I’m crazy, but I personally feel like I’m onto something.
Most current Shoutbow warriors suspect they will simply take the “direct” upgrade and go with a Defense/Tactics/Discipline build like this DTD build (Using Sword/WH+LB). Which consists of:
- Fairly standard Tactics and Discipline build stuff. Perma Regen with a power Banner on hand.
- Defense for Dogged march, Cleansing Ire with some added perks of Defy Pain on 25% hp.
That’s fine, fairly standard. But I’ve been considering, instead that what might be even better is a semi-aggressive Arms/Tactics/Discipline build because I personally feel the gain here outweighs the costs of forgoing Defense with some very important considerations. I will get to that. The build will, again, use Sword/WH and Longbow and follow this ATD build set up. Which for giving up defense, you’re gaining (as highlights):
- A chance for more bleeding when critting, along with 50% bleed duration and 10% more damage on bleeding foes.
- More passive adrenaline gain, so you don’t require being under fire for decent Adrenaline gain, as well as more adrenaline on every crit, which also buffs condition damage.
- Lower CD on sword allowing for more mobility and use of finishers as well as more final thrusts and 20% additional crit chance against bleeding foes with a sword.
Special considerations
- We will be gaining a shout-based heal which will aid the loss of CI, as well as perma Regen.
- This works perfectly with celestial as it has very powerful condition benefits, but also raw multiplier against bleeding foes.
- With Burst mastery and Furious/BF adrenaline will be plentiful AND more in your hands, not requiring being under fire.
- With Warhorn and perma Regen on banner, I feel like Dogged march is able to be given up without too much punishment.
- A good offense is often a good defense, applying a two-sided offense much more easily and with greater potency allows for fending off attackers, especially those who suffer either weak condition clearing or low armor.
Feedback, please:
As to fuel this debate between me and my friends, I’d like some of you to weigh in on what you think about ATD over DTD, and any other implications you can think of for either way. I feel many people are simply afraid of a world without Cleansing Ire, but I feel this may cover all bases in a good fashion and open up options to make Shout Bows also a fairly dangerous foe in addition to it’s great support.
Thanks for reading!

As for why I’m using tinyurl.com, I’ve had some issues linking to the new build creator using standard url links, this seems to clear up the issue.
Other considerations, I initially deisgned the alternative for 2v2 tournies, but feel it may have its place in TPvP depending on the team composition.
Quickness 5 CD? last 4 secs? That can’t be right
Quickness 5 CD? last 4 secs? That can’t be right
