Hi, Daecollo here! Master warrior suggestion master and friend to many!
This is my report on things, bugs, upgrades and buffs that I feel the warrior deserves after their new and recent nerfs. I will not be improving any current meta builds the warrior has now, only their underused and mostly useless traits. My first focus is mostly on the Mace and the Tactics line of skills, for these are the most underused things in the game and nobody will deny how bad they are.
New Tactics’s Minor Traits
5: Reviver’s Might
Gain “3” Might when you revive someone.
15: Fierceness
Gain Swiftness and Might when you gain Fury.
(2) Might: 8 s
Swiftness: 8 s
(10 second internal cooldown.)
25: Impair
Cripple deals damage; it deals additional damage if the target is not moving.
Damage – if not moving: 222
Damage – if moving: 148
(0.2*Condition Damage)
Mace changes:
Pulverize:
Reduce Activation by 50% instead of 25%, lower the base damage and coefficient by 17%.
Counterblow:
Cool-down reduced to 8 seconds. Now bashes your foe and block attacks. Each block gains you a strike of adrenaline. Block lasts 1½ seconds. This is like Power Stab.
Pommel Bash:
Cool-down reduced to 12 seconds. Daze and Cripple your foe with a Pommel Bash Cripple Duration: 5 seconds Increase Base Damage by 400% (It is a very very very low damage skill. Seriously even with 400% damage it still does less then most ‘3’ skills.)
Skull Crack:
Range Increased to 200 and now cleaves up to 2 targets.
BUGS:

The “Unlisted” Bugs or Ninja Nerfs to Warrior These are traits I believe should be looked at, I don’t understand why they were changed without warning or reason, a lot of these traits were underused.
Empowered: This started as 3% damage per boon, then was changed to 2% Damage Per boon, now 1%. We don’t have even have 1/3 many boons as guardians and elementalists and this isn’t a 5/15/25 Free Trait, I don’t understand why this was changed/nerfed. I honestly think if this trait stays the same it should be our new tactics “Minor Trait”.
When Bountiful Power was nerfed, it also nerfed Empowered. It should be changed back immediately. We lost so much damage due to moving our traits to grandmaster.

Desperate Power: This was changed from 25% Threshold to 50% to counter the Berserker’s Power, Heightened Focus was moved from adept to grandmaster traits and to improve skills nobody used. In the 15 Oct 2013 patch however, this went back from 50% to 25% with no warning or reason? Not many people used that trait, and now like before, nobody does.
Furious: As you can see in the notes above: June 25th, it was changed from 1 strike to three strikes because it was an underused trait, much like Desperate Power. I don’t understand why this trait is a Grandmaster, it honestly sucks pretty badly. I would like it changed back from 1 to 3 or change the ability all-together. Honestly Furious should be a 10 or minor trait, not a grandmaster.
Not many people used these traits, nore did they complain about them. Why were they changed back, did Anet simply forget about them when they patched into the game? To this day I don’t see why these were changed, they were even admitted by the developers themselves for being notoriously bad and underwhelming and that is why they were changed.

the cripple dealing damage to target standing still feels weird, why would be moving around with a hurt let deal -less- damage than standing still? i know, logic != fantasy, but still…
could be easier to just give 1 stack of torment when you cripple someone.

I don’t like this because of how ridiculous it could be with Phalanx Strength. With Phalanx Strength, this would result in For Great Justice resulting in either:

Now this is just ridiculous. Put this on a condi build and you’re literally forcing your enemies to either take damage from Cripple or Torment. And that’s not good, because the whole point of Torment is to make your enemy choose between taking the damage from it or losing their mobility.

How about you just let the Mace change happen before you start talking about how it’s not enough?

No, no, no! Pommel Bash is an interrupt, not a damage skill.

Why? You want aoe stun, you go with Hammer.

Empowered was nerfed because it’s ridiculously powerful for a 10 point trait if you’re in a party. Heck, most warriors can easily keep up permanent or near-permanent Might, Fury and Swiftness already. That’s 9% damage. In case you don’t notice, that’s almost as good a Berserker’s Power and we all know what happened to that one.
