"Death From Above"
It can be situationally useful in wvw and also there isn’t much in the tier in strentgh to take over it

i see…Still though. in the same trait line “Restorative Strength” gives you might when using a heal skill. That to me is much much better. idk..
Unless you don´t have physical skills on your bar it makes sense. Most warriors use healing signet so might gain is not realy useful…

how does it make sense with physical skills?
im not being sarcastic/arrogant i really don’t know lol

I think he was referring to both alternatives there. Healing Signet makes it less likely that you’ll get the benefit from Restorative Strength (plus, some builds are swimming in might anyway), and no physical skills means no value from Peak Performance.
I just wrote something in the other thread about this, but Death From Above is an excellent trait for roaming in its own right, imo. If you’re always aware of your environment and thoughtful about approach and movement, you can use it to gain all sorts of combat advantage or escape:
- Start a 1vx fight by jumping on unsuspecting enemies from a rise/cliff instead of running straight in. Did that to a group of five the other day and knocked them off a decently-sized cliff, only to DfA them again (that was about 5-6k to each them from the two DfA, plus the fall damage)
- Lose that big group of baddies who’ve got the hate on for you by jumping off a cliff they aren’t likely to survive. I’ve done that with 10+ people chasing just me… some know better to try, some do it and die immediately, some lose so much health they can be killed easily, and the one or two who might also have a falling trait are much more manageable than the original 10+
- Get around faster by taking more direct paths, and getting past large groups who are guarding more common choke points
- Delay a siege by dropping on enemies, then attacking, disabling, running inside, etc
- I’ve even gotten the occasional benefit by jumping into a field (stealth, fires shield, etc)
It might be my favourite trait in terms of fun.

We use it in my guild as a funny way to push a large group off a gate. Get our mes to stealth the eles who than hit a static field(s) on the group, jump down with DFA wars for a massive pushback+daze/stun.
it is however a highly situational trait. but fun when people do not expect it.
A little bit of an older video but since nothing has changed with the skill still relevant.

It is a great way to start of a fight if it is available and also just plain fun.
its the best skill i can use as a warrior so why not use it?
its the ultimate skill in WvW as a roamer and zerging for a warrior. All about the plays
So, At one point my commander (Purplecam) was running with a zerg of 12. we came around a tower and ran into an 80 man zerg catapulting from a big rock. They did not chase us as we backed away and ran around the other side as if we were scared. Then out of no where Purplecam screams “NOW CHARGE!!!!” and 12 pugs charged the rock. All warriors used fear me, all necros used fear, we ran up the rock and the 80 man zerg jumped off the wrong way and took pretty massive damage. (the whole zerg.) Then we jumped off on top pf them and the result was them going off the cliff either in panic or by the fall damage trait.. 12 killed 80. That is from now on known as “The Battle of Purple Rock”

Not really. We just slap Healing Signet on, disable our “6” key, and go Death From Above instead.
There are a lot of reasons to like Death From Above:
1. It reduces falling damage. Great if you slip from high places.
2. It makes your landings far more dramatic. Your jumps down are announced, and when you splat you crack the ground.
3. Glider+Open World+Death From Above = DIVE BOMBING! Seriously. The glider gives a LOT more action in open world Warrior/Death From Above. Especially in the more vertical maps.
Unless you don´t have physical skills on your bar it makes sense. Most warriors use healing signet so might gain is not realy useful…
Why would we waste valuable slots on those terrible physical skills? We need our stances, signets, shouts, and now Rages far more.
