Deal bonus damage per boon on your target.
Damage Damage Increase: 3%

Each damage increase is a separate instance. Additional damage is 1.03^[number of boons] instead of 1 + (0.03 * boons).
Like other similar traits, only unique boons count for the bonus damage. For example, a target with 25 stacks of Might and 1 stack of Fury will increase damage dealt by 6.09%.

Can someone elaborate how they got 6.09%? I don’t understand how this works.

1.03^(unique boon number)
I don’t get what unique boon means and how 25 of might would be different than 1 of might….and how that gets to 6.09. if its…i dont understand the calculation, explain plz.

Also is this bugged still or does it work as ’stated above"

unique boon is like unique condition.
so might, fury, stab, etc
equation 1 base * 1.03 first boon *1.03 second boon=1.0609
6.09% damage increase.

For the purposes of the trait bonus, 1 might is the same as 25 might in that it would give you one additional 3% damage modifier.

Calculation goes like this:

1 boon (e.g. might): 1.03 (3% bonus)
2 boons (e.g. might and fury): 1.03 × 1.03 = 1.0609 (6.09% bonus)
3 boons (e.g. might, fury, and stability): 1.03 * 1.03 * 1.03 = 1.092727 (9.27% bonus)

Note: the above is also multiplicative with other positive modifiers, including crit. So let’s say you have 3 boons, 20% from Berserker Power, a 230% crit modifier, and 10% from stick and move. You’d get a total modifier of:

1.03 * 1.03 *1.03 * 1.20 * 2.30 * 1.10 = 3.3175 (331.75% damage over base)

When it says each unique boon I believe it means each type of boon.

Let’s say someone has vigor, 3 stacks of stability, fury, resistance and 25 stacks of might on them. That’s 5 unique boons, stacking boons only count as a single unique boon no matter how many stacks there are.

Assuming it compounds each 3% bonus the equation should look like, 1.03^(5) That (5) being the number of unique boons on the target. The ^(unique boon number(5 in this case)) means 1.03 is multiplied by itself 5 times.

In your 6.09 example it’s only 1.03^2 which is the same as 1.03 X 1.03 Which would mean you’re getting 6.09% bonus damage on that target.

1.03^(5) = 116% rounded up from 1.15927 and so on.So you’d be getting a total of 16% bonus damage from that trait on that target with their 5 unique boons.

I believe it’s working as a compounding multiplier.
