Destruction of the Empowered
I like it sofar. More testing needed though.
Or they wasnt mean to be used with gs..I looking at you sniper warriors
Its more meant for rifle users who can stay out of range and target people who maintain ~5 boons.
If you do so you can keep a constant +37% damage output up. (unless you want to use kill shot, then you drop to 25%.)
This is keeping in mind that you can take the empowered trait for +2% damage per boon you have on as well.

i’m just going for Burst Mastery conditions spamming longbow and sword bursts, melting them down, seems to work better than a couple of percents of dmg
It’s actually pretty great in WvW, where everyone and their mother has tons of boons, but not everyone has bleeds on them so you are not guaranteed a 10% damage boost. It’s pretty great seeing 6 boons on someone, and that’s a guaranteed +18% damage boost that isn’t effected by condition removal, which is also rampart in WvW.

Not really. Proper zerg warfare involves massive boon stripping/conversion which removes boons. Also you are going to be extra squishy with 30 in discipline.

Anecdotal, the only time I felt the 30-pt Disc Talent was worth it was in a havoc-squad WvW team where we met a similar sized group and the boon strip/necro conversion wasn’t removing a ton of boons or the targets weren’t also the recipient of Aegis and/or Protection Boon at the same time.
1vX, garbage
Zerg v Zerg, garbage
I know what that means in tPvP then…

Problem with it in PvP is that you need to give up too much in order to get it. Can’t take away from Strength or Arms or it’s redundant, can’t take away from Defense or Tactics or you’re even more immobile than before.
Should have just made it a passive for Discipline to replace Brawn. 0.1% per point. 3% at 30 points.
Yes exactly the trade offs make it inferior. The only buff it gives is to Rifles.
If you did 10/30/0/0/30 It makes rifle pretty strong. Thats not exactly helping warriors be more viable for anything but picking off targets in a zerg.

The trait itself is fine; it’s the trait line that’s the problem. The stats provided by the trait line and the 25 point minor trait are vastly inferior to other trait lines.

Its crap. It can’t even burn through one protection. It only acts as additive damage if you already have attack of opportunity on players with boons. It is actually WORSE than attack of opportunity since it requires boons to be up while AOO does not -most people who take AOO have high crit chance thus causing bleeding 1/3 of the time so it is up quite often-.
They should have made it: Remove one boon per adrenaline bar. Give us boon ripping like the rest of the valid classes…sheesh..
And rip protection first.
